Those threads are full of pontifications rather than actual trades. I posted a trade there, and our dog of an administrator made a thread for it much later. Shrug.why a separate thread for this? its been in the Trade Deadline thread for a while already
I thought the epic trade thread we've been building for so long would be the perfect place to discuss the trades, but no. We have threads for when we are excited, threads for when we are not excited, threads to decide whether or not we should be excited, threads to discuss what it means to be excited about a trade. But you go too far when you start a new thread for a trade involving the Lakers and Corey Brewer.why a separate thread for this? its been in the Trade Deadline thread for a while already

F the Lakers and screw the threads on our forum about there worthless trades, clear enuf?Because it's the Lakers. Anything they do gets 50 times the publicity of other teams. Lou Williams and Corey Brewer are just as important as DeMarcus Cousins, in dog years and pesos.
I'm just going to merge all the threads on this forum and throw the combined thing into the site's political forum.
that's an alternate fact! The board motto should be in the top banner. "In the end, all is political." Aristophanes or Xerox or Stephanopolous said that.

IF this is true then it must have been in the 2018 draft because the HOU pick isn't great (27th right now) but in a stronger draft. Otherwise we have another SAC on our hands turning down better deals to then take a worse one.
I think they were trying to package the pick they got for Lou Will for Boogie. SAC had not interest.I think it's more likely that Kupchak was liking for a homerun deal to save his job, and didn't see any of these Lou Williams offers as fitting the bill, but once the new regime was brought in, they decided to start making changes immediately.
