OT Rockets Interviewing Kenny Smith for headcoach???

Kenny smith could be a good coach in the right situation. I hope he doesn't take the job though, for two reasons. 1. Rockets suck and they will fire him after the season even though their being shitty is not his fault. 2. I like hearing him on inside, and without him that show would be the Chuck and Shaq goon hour.

Morey also interviewed Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys after hearing the lyrics "inside, outside USA " from the song Surfin' USA. He thought that idea might line up with his offensive philosophy. After finding out that Wilson stayed to himself and often didn't travel with the rest of the Beach Boys, Morey concluded that James Harden already fills that role with the squad and the two would probably butt heads at some point.

F'n inspired!

I can see Kenny being a coach in the right situation. But that isn't the right situation. The Rockets are literally this....

Kenny easily has the best basketball mind on that show. Very sharp, articulate guy. I totally get why they would want him.

And by the way, not only was Kerr an analyst before he was a head coach, so was Pat Riley. And the Warriors GM was an agent before he got the job. You guys crack me up with your holier-than-thou, "he's a joke" take.

Kerr was a horrible analyst IMHO. And I fucking hate him on my 2K.

Kerr was widely regarded (especially on this forum) as the best analyst on ANY network. He didn't do schticks, he didn't do gimmicks. He just dropped knowledge.

I wouldn't be surprised if he dropped the mic after every game he did.

Wow really?

I can't stand Steve Kerr. And, even though he's Republican, he's not anywhere near Greg Anthony.

I'd love to have Shaq as an assistant. I think he'd be a great big man coach.
Probably be awkward for Nards and Plums to be called dough boy all day lol

Also, Shaq would just teach them the art of the offensive foul and the running hook lol

if shaq is gunna take a job like that on its going to be a team he actually has some stake in. i.e. the sactown queens.
