Rod says Kiki was talking with Milwaukee. Sweetness.</div>
Ah so we have Kiki to blame for this BS deal.
I'm pissed off. They should have demanded the #8 pick. We are taking Simmons contract back after all. Even if it ends in 2010. I like getting Yi, but I HATE bringing back Simmons. Bucks took us in this deal.
</div>
I really don't see how.
This trade met all of the criteria for what they wanted to get for RJ.
</div>
Then we should have given them Hassell and they gave us Mason to even things out. If we did that, I think I could have been OK with the deal. Barely.
RJ is coming off an 82 game season averaging 22 points, and we get an unproven young big man (although this is the one good part of the deal) and eat a 20 million garbage contract. Simmons is virtually UNTRADEABLE (sounds ironic after just being traded, but you get the idea). Hell even Marbury has more trade value. Bucks totally took us in this lopsided deal. It isn't Kidd or Carter-TOR level robbery, but it's still bad for us.

Yi and Simmons combined will make less than RJ the next two seasons. Simmons should be useful as a backup SF and apparently the Nets have high hopes for Yi.
