Texas woman died due to abortion ban. She was 17 weeks pregnant with her wanted second child when she began to miscarry. The fetus was not expelled. For 40 hours, with her husband, she begged for help, her uterus exposed. Because fetus still had heartbeat, it was a crime to remove it even with no chance of survival. Three days after fetus finally was expelled, she died of infection.

Brutal.

A young South Carolina woman spent 22 days in jail after a miscarriage. The woman was not yet aware she was pregnant until she miscarried. Although unusual, some women do continue menstrual cycles during pregnancy. She was charged with not preventing loss of pregnancy. Finally, an autopsy showed fetus died of natural causes due to an unrelated medical condition. This could have been done day one.

A Texas teen died after going to three emergency rooms.

Her mother took her to ER with high fever and vomiting. They said strep and sent her home, ignoring her cramps and bleeding. Her fever continued to spike. Her mother took her to a second ER, crying in pain, too weak to walk. They said her pregnancy had become septic. Her mother pleaded for somebody to help her daughter, but since the fetus had a heartbeat they could not terminate the pregnancy. They sent her home. By the time her mother brought her to a third ER she was turning blue and blood pressure plummeting. They said she was in septic shock. She died a few hours later.

The fetus also died.

More information on the teen who died. When she arrived at third ER, she was not only going into organ failure, she was also beginning to miscarry. But instead of immediate emergency treatment, hospital performed two ultrasounds to determine the fetus had died before treating her. By which time it was too late.

Her mother said both she and her daughter were "pro life", her words. Which is why her teen daughter decided to carry unplanned pregnancy. They didn't plan on her dying.

Idaho woman was having a miscarriage. It took 19 days to expel the fetus. Standard medical procedure is dilation and curettage, commonly known as D & C. Which is illegal in Idaho. So she was left in agony for 19 days without assistance.

By the time the fetus was expelled, she developed an incurable heart condition.

Now THAT is funny shit. Hoisted in their own petard. But of course they'll find some typical (and hypocritical) Republicant excuse to weasel out. I'm wondering if something like this isn't a foreshadowing of what is coming down the tracks. All the burn it down bullshit they're trying to do in such rush will hopefully come back to bite them in the ass, similar to the Wyoming example. Destroy in haste, repent at leisure......They have already made it clear that they aren't exactly deep thinkers.....

Another Texas woman died from lack of care due to abortion ban. A married 35 year old mother of two had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. She had a blood clotting disorder which made her liable to heavy bleeding. She began to hemorrhage, losing so much blood she needed two transfusions but bleeding didn't stop. A 15 minute D & C is standard of care. More than a dozen doctors told Pro Publica that would have stopped bleeding. But doctors were afraid to do procedure because of Texas law. She bled out. Her children lost their mother, her husband his wife, her mother a daughter.
But Texas is so pro life.
And they will now turn public schools into Christian schools. No doubt Jesus was happy the woman died, right?

Jesus was all about killing women.

Texas State government office that investigates pregnancy related death said they will not include 2022 and 2023, the first two years after state abortion ban went into effect.

In Texas, where else, women in difficult labor given pain medication are arrested and threatened with having newborns taken from them after positive drug test. Positive for drugs they were given in hospitals.

Georgia and Texas, two states with abortion bans, will no longer keep official records of women who died from pregnancy complications. They got bad publicity when names of women denied abortion in life threatening situations were revealed.

Any woman who still lives in either of these states is either a victim or a fucking idiot.

Not everyone is in a position to pack up and move. That's millions of people. I don't blame the women except if they vote Republican.

Yes, because such a large percentage of women are continuously getting dumped in and needing abortions that they should base their entire lives including where they live around this one topic. Pack the Uhauls girls!

Every fertile woman is at risk of being killed by this cruel and pointless bullshit and they have no control over it.

I would encourage them to get out.

I certainly don't blame them. If they can't afford to move then they are victims/hostages, IMO.

This is such a wild exaggeration it’s laughable.

It's almost like you don't need to know much about reproductive biology to father a dozen or so kids.
