Oh but I do watch. I watch closely enough to see how many forced shots he takes, or how many 40 footers he takes. What's up with that? He plays like he's in an exhibition game with all his antics.

^ for real your really a hater, how many 40 foot shots does he put a game?? he maybe put up like 3 all last year that werent buzzer beaters and he hit 2 of em, and i should know ive seen every nets game last season

what the hell are you guys talking about? when vince was on the raptors, he had an incredbile supporting cast. Antonio Davis was an all-star, Alvin Williams was a very good pg, Charles Oakley was a great banger inside, Jerome Williams was at the peak of his career, Mo Pete was solid off the bench, and Chris Childs was one of the best back up pg's in the league. If anything, playing with this talent and only making the second round shows a lack of ability for Carter to lead a team. He also could NEVER get out of the first round with T-Mac on his side, as he was awful in the playoffs against the Knicks.

Random stuff? Find someone who hasn't seen him fire up a shot well beyond the three point arc. He's done it a number of times, he even practices those shots. Open your eyes man.

He does take alot of jumpers but 40 footers? Maybe at end of quarters when the clock is winding down.

A "very good" supporting cast is not truly what we had. It was good for the East, but Alvin Williams was not a very good PG, he wasn't even a true PG, he's a combo guard. Chris Childs was passable, but in crunch time he was quite annoying with his mistakes. There was no true second option player, AD was the second option scoring 13.7 PPG. Carter was the first at 27.6 PPG, HUGE dropoff. We were similar to the Sixers team, but not as good defensively because we didn't have a Mutombo. When Tmac was on the Raptors, that was our first year in the playoffs, saying he (Carter) could "never get out of the first round" doesn't make sense when it was his first year there, and playing against a 50 win Knick team. We went to the second round <u>after</u> Tmac left. I'm not sure what Raptors team you watched.

A 40 foot shot is close to halfcourt. The three point line is 23'9 if he's stepping back 5 feet behind the three point line even, he's only 29 feet away. He takes 28-29 foot jumpshots, Kobe and Arenas do the same too. I don't know why he takes them, yea he makes some, but there's no need to.
