Not safe for bodyman, teared up like toddler.

Actually, thanks for posting that.

Yeah, it was kind of difficult to watch. A lot of the "on the road" with Steve Hartman ( the guy for CBS) have the same effect on me.

Sorry Sly.

For the rest of you, something to think about: At some point, we are going to have to put Sly down... he's getting up there in years. What should we do to celebrate his last day? Let him poop in the sand one more time like Walnut?

barfo

Let him ban 10 of us without any reason.

I know you have said you have chihuahuas in the past.

I used to greatly dislike chihuahuas. Then my girlfriend (wife now) had one when we dated. Now we have two and god dammit i love the little shits. They are annoying as hell sometimes but they are my annoying as hell little shits.

I have one apple head and one deer head chihuahua.
Mine are mutt half breeds, two of them are brindle coats so they are pretty dogs.

The old female is the smallest and she is easy going.
The other two are about 4 years old and are brother and sister.
The girl is stronger and mean and the boy is the sweetest little fruitcake you'll ever see.

They can be annoying as fuck though.

That'd be good therapy....like digging a hole, screaming in it and filling it back up again...for free! Not even 85K!

digging a hole and filling it back up again? That sounds an awful lot like a cat using the cat box...

Thats very sad to hear and i'm sorry for you loss Sly. I lost my dog this summer and it was very tough but I can say that as tough as it was to lose her I don't regret it at all and i'm trying to cox my wife into getting another dog soon.

dogs teach you everything you need to know about loyalty. They teach you leadership, responsibility, and most of all, they can teach you how to love unconditionally. before i got my Winnie I prayed that the Lord would teach me something important with her life. I've been learning ever since. I cried more when I had to amputate her leg after she was hit by a truck than I cried when my ex cheated on me and through away our engagement. What boggles my mind is no more than 24 hours after her surgery she was running in the back yard, chasing her toy like nothing ever happened. Dogs dont get down and dont feel sorry for themselves. That was a huge lesson for me and probably why I just dont get offended anymore. My dog had a leg lopped off and continued on, so what gives me the right to get upset over some words or someone elses idiocy?

Wise words my friend. Thanks for sharing.

Dogs are always there for you even if you have had a crappy day. I will hug my dog Clyde (named after Drexler) when I get home.

That reminds me of a song my dad loved back when I was a kid, one of my fondest memories of my childhood was listening to this song with my dad. The lyric I was reminded of was this.
"old dogs care about you, even if you make mistakes"

I know that someday I'll listen to this song and cry like a blubbering mess.

Oh no... Hurts my heart... I've had many dogs in my lifetime. Losing your friend who will always be your friend is very tough.

So sorry for your loss.
