Roy= 28 ppg, looking like an MVP candidate, since Oden went down

Not unless we miss the playoffs and get lucky in the draft. Lakers won but they did have two centers both pretty damn good. .

Bynum, their starting center, averaged 6.3 ppg & 3.7 rpg. I expect Joel to give us more than that.

I like Joel and he is a great backup center but Bynum is better and Gasol can play center and and PF.

Uh, we're 1-1 since he went down...

Now if we win 20 of the next 25 you'd have a point.

I love the Blazers and I hope they could build around Roy/LMA and win a championship but I really doubt it without Oden or another good big man.

I hear ya. I've always been worried that our "dynasty years" were at odds with LeBron's "dynasty years."

Not after we trade for LeBron.

Roy is too good not to get his numbers.

The player that can save this season is LMA. He REALLY needs to step up and be consistent.

Wait.... it was Oden that was holding Roy back? I thought it was Andre Miller?

I'm so confused..... :(

Can't think of a team that won recently without a dominating low-post presence. You can't win with your best big a soft-jump shooting PF.

I was really looking forward to the bynum/oden match-uo too:(

The Indiana feed on NBALP last night gave a great stat.

The Blazers are 53-26 with Greg Oden

The Blazers are 55-49 without him

I don't give a fuck if Brandon and LA are more comfortable. This team is better with Greg Oden.

Although Im not saying that Oden was, is or ever will be as good but I wonder how Roy would react if we were adding Hakeem or Kareem to this line-up. At some point what he wants and what he thinks is best for the team has to get one of these: Well Brandon .... sorry but :dunno: its Hakeem. What the fuck do you expect us to do?

When there's not enough shots to go around... create more shots. In short, a faster offense is probably required.

What do you expect him to do, him and LA have to put down 60 for Portland to even have a chance to win right now. Do not drink the kool aid. :koolaid:

Portland scraped one out over Houston at home, got their teeth kicked in by NY (who really sucks) and barely won against a really bad Indiana team without their main scorer. As said in the movie "The Jerk" the key to life is knowing the difference between shit and shinola. This isn't shinola. :tsktsk:
