many of us don't see the world as black and white and black people have "their" people and white people have their people.

We are all Americans. I'm not black, but you know what, I consider Obama "my people" and every person on the supreme court "my people" . . . because they are all Americans.

His people . . . do you really see americans as black or white and they are your people if they match your skin tone?

Of course I went there. Many black people have been extraordinarily successful in this country, especially black athletes, and it's an extra reason for Roy to be thankful for living in this country.

A fascinating characteristic of tunnels is that depending on where you stand, the acoustics can be phenomenal.

I once ran up several flights of an enclosed concrete stairway in the old Columbia Studios in Hollywood when I heard a full live orchestra playing some awesomely complex music upstairs.

As I climbed the stairs, instruments seemed to drop out one by one until I rounded the last corner at the top and found my roommate sitting there all alone playing his acoustic twelve string.

Well hopefully you thank US every day because the richest people in the US are white . . . imagine how lucky you are that "your" people dominate the business world, the forbes list, NBA ownership,ect.

Please don't ever complain about things given how forunate your people are doing in this country.

I hope Roy is thankful for a lot of things, but not because "his people" have been fortunate. In fact if we want to get into who is fortunate in this country white or black people . . . never mind I can't believe you can't recognize how wrong it is to talk about Black people as Roy's people.

So the guy who bombed the OK city buidling, is he your people because you guys are both white?

Safe to assume that in your mind, anyone white is not considered "his people."

Funny thing about patriotism is that it means: devoted love, support, and defense of one's country; national loyalty.
Nowhere in that definition does it say "taking a minute to myself during the national anthem" means your not patriotic. Just because what someone does does not fall into your definition of "being patriotic" does not make them unpatriotic. Attacking someone on a topic like this, over something thats in my opinion trivial, over whether they love there country or not is just plain stupid.

Well, mission accomplished for Canzano. A little insinuation here, a little vague "just doesn't feel right" there, and he's brought out the worst imaginings by some portion of Blazer fans. I totally get the backstage moment of reflection, but this is easy pickings for a little shit-stirring among the holier-than-thou crowd. I wonder if he's been holding on to this, waiting until there was a Roy backlash, or if he just started looking for stuff like this after the backlash had already begun?
