But the reality is "Hibbert has sucked". So both McGrady and Gilbert have no room to talk, I'm sure most pacer's fans would agree with their take

Hibbert looked like he was progressing into one of the best defensive centers. That's until the free fall. I wonder what happened to him.

I have no clue bro. It's weird man... I've been watching him closely and it seems like his effort has just disappeared. Almost like I saw with Shawn Kemp when he came to PDX. Do you think he's on coke?

I think the lesson to be learned is not to try to obtain a Pacers C who looks like he's one of the best. We learned the hard way with Dale Davis - and got off easy the second time around.
 
One rumor is that Paul George slept with Hibbert's girl. Supposedly that is why Lance Stephenson and Evan Turner got into a fight, with Lance bringing up the affair and Turner taking exception with him talking about it.

It would make sense, but I have no idea of its validity.

If he gets traded, I would bet on a huge rebound.
 
Roy Hibbert had a pretty big game tonight compared to what he was doing.

No but I'd still take a shot with Hibbert if his contract wasn't so huge.

I think he's still as good as he has been, the chemistry is just f'd right now and he probably stopped caring.
 
The rumor for Hibbert's free-fall stems from Paul George banging Roy's fiancé.

I do not think a freefall this big had to do with him not liking a few players. I think Hibbert would have played Howard better than Lopez did last series, but would love to know the real reason Hibbert is struggling.

Too much of him is being asked too. We could live with him being a defensive only player, not sure Indy can.

Lopez would be as good as it gets for a backup center. Would be a huge step forward towards making us one of the deepest teams in the nba.

Nik might have something here... Pacers cut Bynum yesterday and Hibbert plays like an All Star.
