"It's on me," Roy said in response. "I don't blame them at all. I think it's something I have to at least call and say that whenever the next team event is, I want to be there. I think that's what they want to see out of me. I totally understand and I agree with what they're saying. I have to kind of take that next step to show them I want to be a part of the team."

Hmmm. Interesting. Last I hear, he was all about the Blazers and did not want to play USA ball. Now Miller is here, pissing Roy off and he wants to play for team USA now.

boy that is some misplaced blame you're rolling out. As the unnamed team USA guy alluded, Roy has stated that both injury and contract issues kept him from playing last year but that he wanted to... this was prior to Andre signing. Contract settled and injury free, he still wants to play today... how is that (1) Andre's fault (2) a bad thing?

Roy must have gotten a case of the clap from Sergio before he left. That's the only explanation I can find.
 
Roy sees his stats will fall, and his time with the ball will fall, with Miller here.

That means less highlights, less positive stories, less limelight.

If he can't get it with the Blazers, Roy will get it with Team USA.

He's quite serious about eventually being recognized as the best player in the game, and he will not let the Blazers or Andre Miller prevent that.

Really? Seems to be about par for the course on here lately. Mostly from 3-4 posters, but they unfortunately live on here so that's about half of what I read. I may have to give into the ignore feature, because this is supposed to be fun, not :ohno: 24/7.

...I just don't think what you are saying makes any sense. I thought it was a joke to be honest. Don't take it so personal, I accept your opinion I just don't agree with it so I voiced my opinion. Roy hastalked about how much better Andre will make him this year. I can't understand why going to team USA would have anything to do with individual goals anyway. He'd be playing for his country.

Won't he get the ball even less, and have worse stats on team USA? He's the man on this team and will still have the ball a decent amount even if Miller takes over like you seem to think will happen in terms of usage.
