Roy says we blew the 4th quarter lead because Outlaw was out

Bottom line, Travis Outlaw was second only to Roy in PER on our team. Better than LMA. Better than Oden. Outlaw was a huge part of our success and I'm glad that some of the posters in this thread understand that.

PapaG agrees with him, but since he hasn't coached an NBA game he's "clueless" also, according to Nate and Quick.

I never said that. I had no idea what you were talking about in your "clueless" post. I will admit that we're all "clueless", even against Roy's opinion.

I think you're clueless. I think I'm clueless. That's why we have data to support our opinions, isn't it? I'm sorry if you are offended, but I respect your "opinion" as much as I respect MIXUM'S "opinion".

:dunno:

Come on Speed. Stats don't matter here anymore. It's all about the opinion of the experts at this point. I started a thread with detailed and advanced statistics. Bottom line? I got pounded for it, yet not a single poster outside of RR7 challenged those statistics with anything relevant.

Could you at least check your stats before you do this?

Travis Outlaw PER: 15.1
LaMarcus Aldridge PER: 17.7
Greg Oden PER: 19.1

Travis had a PER of 20 before his foot trouble started. But, to be honest, at the time Greg had a PER of 21+ - so he was actually 3rd on the team at the time.

Travis played one game with foot trouble and in that game played only 50 seconds. Did his PER really drop 5 points from that one game?

He'd been complaining of a sore foot the two previous games but played through it.

Of course, Roy relayed this information, so it's probably false. I can't validate it until one of the experts on this board confirms it.

I am using Roy's information that Travis was complaining about his foot hurting in the 2 games before his stress fracture finally manifested itself with him limping.

I doubt they would lie about it, but who knows?
