But Brandon is not expected to miss any action. Hopefully this doesn't affect his shot any.. but good news that he won't miss games. I'd hate to see us without him..

From the Trail Blazers communication department this white Sunday morning:

X-rays show Brandon Roy has a torn tendon in his right little finger. He will have to wear a splint, but is not expected to miss any games. Roy injured the finger during the third quarter of Friday's overtime loss to the Clippers.

A splint? It would seem like that would mess with his shot and handles!

I guess Kobe played last season with that weird twisted tape job and won the MVP.

Hopefully it won't affect his game too much. Hell, at this point something like this is the only thing that could slow him down.

He's falling apart before our very eyes! I blame Nate!

so will it heal as the year goes on? Or will he need surgery after the year?

I hope it doesn't effect him. I think he will get used to it and be fine. The guy is an incredibly smart bball player and is great at adapting.

Go Roy!

Torn tendon and avulsion fractures are different things.

Oh thankyou for dropping some knowledge! No shit! I was simply stating how the 2 players would be able to play with tape/splints on their hands!
