Roy's plan for tonight

I will say one thing. I think Dallas will do everything in their power to try and frustrate Roy and keep his doubt on. If it is truly "mental"; which is kinda what I'm leaning towards; then one good game could unleash the beast. When that happens, if it ever, Dallas's chances in this series will shift.

i agree....i dont think its as physical as people think. I dont know everyone has been watching but, i havent missed a second of a game in the last 3 years and i see Brandon gettin around his defender still only to pass out when he gets int he paint. I think thats mental. also, He still gets good lift on his jumper. People just like the way we played without roy for a while so some like to point fingers...fact is we need Roy.

i see Brandon gettin around his defender still...
Yes, but there's a key difference. He doesn't have the first step to get by them anymore, so he uses an exaggerated step to get his body past the defender. But in the process, he's off balance and can't explode into the second step, just like a sprinter taking too big of a first step out of the blocks and having no momentum for the second step. That's why he can't do much even though he's still getting around the defender. It's fools gold.

i hope his plan is to make 50% of his shots

I am gettin tired of this subject and tired of his lousy play, action speaks louder that words, so far it's a resounding no for Roy playin any significant minutes

If that was the aggressive Roy, I hate to see the laid back Roy......

In all seriousness, he's moving like a 60 year old on the court and he's obviously not right physically and mentally. Roy will always be one of my all time favorite Blazers, but he's more of a liability right now than anything. It's a broken record as we're all saying it. At least Nate shut him down in the 2nd half early as opposed to late.

Roy has a plan? I sure didn't see it tonight. He's so done you can stick two forks in him.

besides Roy out offense again looked broken and 60 yrs old - WTF this is the same playoff chit, Dallss scores with barea driving at will and they get wide open 3's - Just sucks

Way to bring it, Brandon. Peja is no more athletic than a hobbled Roy, yet he managed to contribute.

I have to change the channel when he enters the game.

It's scary how fast his decline has been. He went from the 3rd best SG in the game to an invisible player who contributes a play or two every ten games or so.

Come on CBA, save us!

Saturday night, Nate and Roy were to blame because Roy played too much in the 4th quarter. Tonight, the Blazers are blown out in the 4th quarter with no Roy, and Nate and Roy are to blame.

You people make me laugh.

Plus, you only show up on this board to bitch about the Blazers after losses. So, I'm not surprised. Plus, if you turn the channel, how do you know what he is contributing on the court?

People are blaming Roy? Where?! He didn't have an effective game (played only 8min, so...). Anything wrong with that statement?

5 minutes. After all the crap you and others gave him after Game One, I'm surprised you're still concerned about him in Game Two.

Are you afraid to criticize the starting SG who is playing like shit?

Roy hurt us tonight. You can't have a player on the court who is not looking to attack. He was pass first and second and third tonight. Incredibly predictable. This is no time or place for a passive player. If he can't be a constant threat to score we can't have him on the floor.

I'm hoping the new CBA allows each team to buy out one player and one coach.
