Not sure regarding Law but imo, Curt Schilling is still a sh!t-face loud mouth who likes to hear himself talk.
 
I don't know what he did wrong.... I won't get into a debate on Creation vs the theory of evolution, but Law should be entitled to his opinion even if he's wrong...
 
Wow. That's pretty fucked up. There is no reason why one cannot resolve a belief in God while acknowledging evolution. Free will started with evolution at the initial spark of life on this planet, and before that the birth of the universe.

From a quantum mechanics viewpoint, creation of the earth and evolution to the current state could be only 7 days to a creator....and 5 billion years to us.
 
...one question that no one has ever been able to answer for me is, "Who created the creator"?

Exactly so.......!

On who created the creator, I'd have to say without offense to anyone's belief system. The Human mind created such....

Or as John Lennon sang: "God is a concept, in which we measure our pain"....

Or as the Ancient story goes, 3 men stepped on a raft to go down river. Once the boat was in motion, the 1st guy said: The water is moving the boat. The 2nd guy said, no the boat is moving in the water. The 3rd guy said, is the land moving too? Or is it simply your brains are moving? :tiphat:
 
However on occasion, yes I do believe in Miracles...!
 
Human mind discovers, replicates and assimilates, does not create. Physically we are excellent at destruction, creation is God's domain....that and miracles.

Yes, the mind is responsible for a helluva lot of creation. more than one thinks, in fact, I expected pretty much the responses noted, as such the story I told, is intended to break down the human's logical, rationale mind, to a point they cannot answer with words period....!

BTW-tho' its a moot point, that story of the 3 men is 5,000 years old, at its youngest....!

I suppose you've heard the sound of one hand clapping too? :smile:

I was hoping for a more tangible explanation myself, or at least a few words of wisdom.

"God is a concept, in which we measure our pain"......just to think; 59, there are some here who don't believe the human mind is even capable of conceptual thought....!

I just did refute that statement, I created my Son, I created ... well hold on, I suppose your not "Creating' Meds, they are just magically appearing, like Easter Eggs, or only some Spirit consumes you to do as much?

You created DNA? You inherited it. Your son is the simple addition of one genome to another.....no creation involved. As for creating drugs...no, like you and planes I design and assemble. Drugs are molecules composed of atoms and bonds....I didn't create that.

Oh I have more than a clue. At the end of the day, let's look at this strategically. My faith defines me, gives my moral compass a point of reference. If I'm right in my beliefs than what comes next is all good. If I'm wrong it won't matter. For you, there is no upside...but the downside is well, not ideal.

Whatever gets you through the day.
 
Personally, what gets me through the day is using my own road map for life, instead of someone else's.
