Rudy beasts it up

Right but you see, most members of this forum live in a world of what if's instead of dealing with reality. We have Oden and therefore it is LOGICAL to want him to be healthy and succeed. He has not remained healthy thus far. It is possible the injuries will continue, it's possible they will cease. We will see this year.

But no, we need to go off the fucking deep end every time we pass on a player in the draft.

I still say Michael Jordan is the only one that really matters that we have passed on.

Do people still whine about that? God I hope not, that would be really REALLY sad. Sort of like pining after Durant oh 3 years after we didn't draft him. Get over it, we got Oden now lets send positive thinking his way. Bitching about stuff in the past is worthless, time to move on.

Bitching about people with a different opinion than yours is worthless too.

I figured you would say that. But what did I say that was incorrect? Oden has been injured and people should want him to be healthy. Did I say he has been healthy? No, I said he has not remained healthy thus far, and the injuries will continue or they won't.

Seems the people who are convinced Oden is garbage are the ones who have the bizarre viewpoint from a Blazer fan perspective. Do you want him to be injured all the time Nik? I certainly don't and I can't imagine you do. It seems some do though because it would prove them right. Seems kinda crazy thinking to me.

I think I have a quite firm grip on reality actually. Either Oden will continue to be injured or he won't. I simply don't understand the fold up the tent and go home mentality. I root for Blazers as long as the wear the red and black and I certainly don't take delight in their injuries or make fun of them for it...

So, to be clear, if we had drafted Durant, you would now be wearing a Durant jersey celebrating his great performance in the world championships.

Just more proof Rudy was sandbagging to get out of here last year. Fuck that guy.

Look at him, flaunting the wondrousness that he purposely denied us! Taunting fucker!

So... like in his rookie year and his 2nd year - he is good when it is not really all that important, but disappears when it matters (as he did in the playoffs?)

Who had the better FIBA tournament: Rudy or Batum? I think the answer's obvious, and it's not everybody's favorite.

As for "supporting" Oden who cares? Does it make him more or less likely to succeed or fail if people support him?

Believe it or Not, Yes. You'd be surprised how far a little positive energy can go.

That being said, I believe if more positive energy was given to preparing Rudy for his future on this team, things could be different now

All due respect, but what a load of bollocks.

The $6.8m Greg will be receiving this season should be more than enough motivation to play up to his abilities. Screw positive energy.

BTW, he's reminiscent of Manu in those highlights. Where the hell was this hustle and drive in PDX?!

You've never heard of Nate McMillan?
