Rudy Fernandez is considering the possibility of an NBA return

Too late: My son just traded Rudy for Michael Jordan on NBA2K12. I think he might have potential as a GM.
He also traded Dante Cunningham for Tim Duncan.

Look at Nic now he no longer has to play N8ball; Rudy would thrive with more creative freedom.

No thanks to Rudy. He had his chance to shine here and failed, he's entirely one dimensional on offense, and often sucks at the one thing he can do.

Rudy's d was underrated. His all round game is exactly what we need. Fuck his shooting woes, we just need someone else who can create havoc off the bench like he did. And in this system, he's PERFECT

I think he'd be better than he was here last time. I'd be willing to take a risk on him.

Creating "havoc" by jacking up a bunch of bricks? My, my, you guys are getting desperate.

Yeah, does Rudy get that burly block Sasha got tonight against the Heat?

Rudy stuffed Dwight in the Olympics, so there's that.

I'd bring him back in a heartbeat if the price is right. He's exactly the type of 6th man energizer/playmaker we need.

He was fucking horrible and had one year where he hits some 3 pointers. Other than that, he's an NBA bust.

Good Gawd, the shit I read here at times...

Oscar Schmidt lit up Team USA once. Sign him. At least he could consistently hit the three.

What this really means is no Euro team is going to overpay for RootyTooty, and his agent is laughably trying to give him some leverage.

I have nothing to say on this - I just don't want papa to get five straight posts in on any one thread. #cockblock

You ruined my roll. That Techno Viking dude is going to haunt your dreams.

You could just start another string. But you better look over your shoulder b/c I just may very well be there every 4th post.

"Who knows in two years, three years, I could back to the NBA if I start to feel better about my back."

This gives him time to grow back his beard. Stotts will be gone and some new slow coach will be here, and Rudy won't come to a small market anyway.

So what did Real Madrid do to piss him off? Is the money drying up in Spain?

I don't see where anything in the article suggests in any way that he's unhappy in Spain. I read it as basically saying that he thinks he's good enough to play in the NBA, but that his body was unable to take the strain of 82 games per year against the best players in the world. He thrives in a lighter schedule against lighter competition, but he's just not strong enough for the American game.

There is still the possibility that Fernandez, a passionate music fan who has dreams of becoming a DJ, will have another go at cracking the NBA -- if his body can withstand the strain.

Yeah, I read that part too. Your point?

First of all I doubt Rudy would come back here, there were a lot of bridges burned. Secondly did everyone forget what a tool he was when things weren't going his way? Good riddence, we can find someone else to brick a bunch of threes for us.
