I'm less concerned with his impact on twitter than what he'll do (or don't?) in Dallas. Something tells me that he was kind of sandbagging last year because he wanted out so badly ... something else tells me that he just kind of sucks as an NBA shooting guard. Why would Dallas want to downgrade at SG? And why would that upset you? Rudy was a flaming turd as a starter in the PHX series when Roy was injured.

Nah. Sergio had a better year (at least offensively) in Sacto, and Jack played well in Indiana.

Rudy starting at SG for the Mavs is a good thing for us. The only time Rudy looked worse on the floor than he did as a backup was when he was starting.

Telfair was overrated while a Blazer, true, but he averages 20 mpg for Minnesota.

James Jones is good enough for 20 mpg with Miami, the best team in the league. Plays every game.

We all laughed at Stephen Graham in 2006-07 because McMillan wouldn't give him the time of day. But he's been in the NBA ever since. Nothing great, but better than McMillan made him appear. He plays in every Nets game, 17 mpg.

After McMillan played Von Wafer in only 8 of his 28 Blazer games, we thought he'd be out of the league. Next season he averaged 20 minutes with Houston and won them some games. He plays in every Celtic game, 9 mpg.

Blazer scrubs in the McMillan era who are no longer in the NBA, but who did better after McMillan:

For the 2 seasons after he was a Blazer, Fred Jones got 25 mpg then 29 mpg, then he was out of the league. Not a star, but surprising, considering how he was a scrub under McMillan.

Dan Dickau got a lot more minutes with his next team after both his Blazer stints, including starting for New Orleans.

Blazer fans thought Brian Skinner's career was over due to injury, but he lasted 5 more years. Same for Theo Ratliff.
