A New Challenge

September 30, 2009

My second NBA season has arrived, after the European Championship in Poland, a gold medal, and a great summer. It is a challenge that I'm excited to take on. My first year in the league was good, but it wasn't easy. They say the second year is even harder because the other teams and rival players know your game. But I'm excited to take on this new challenge and take another step forward in the NBA.

After celebrating the gold medal I didn't have much time to rest. I had to do a photo shoot for a new American Crew campaign, and play a part in Bido Bido, which was my last goodbye to summer. On Saturday the 26th I flew to Portland. It's a very very long trip. On Sunday I did some shopping, and on Monday I went to work. Monday was media day, a day that you have to have a lot of patience and a good attitude. We spend hours taking pictures, videos, interviews, commercials, announcements . . . On Tuesday practice starts, twice a day all week. I'll tell you how it all goes.

Un Saludo,

Rudy

Obviously, much wiser than "NBA veteran" Miller or "prematurely out of college" Bayless.

I think he'll get a ton of assists each night with Martin and Hawes hitting jumpers. If the work with Townsend pays off and he can hit 3's like he did in warmups last year, he could be good.

However, he could keep turning the ball over and be playing 12 minutes of garbage time a game for the worst team in the league. But I think he's beating out Udrih.

Great news! Now when I root for Sergio to fail, I don't have to feel guilty anymore. He's not on our team :)

i wouldn't be surprised to see sergio get even less minutes with the kings than he got with the blazers. he just simply isn't good and the kings will be terrible so tyreke evans will get all the minutes he can handle with udrih likely picking up all the reserve minutes with the kings hoping they can find someone to take his contract off their hands.
