Except he has the handle and passing skills of a guard, so I still don't see why you believe he can't play shooting guard.
It's true that he's not a great three-point shooter (though he's not terrible either, he's simply a bit below average), but that's less than ideal from any perimeter spot...it doesn't disqualify him from either position. And he's good to great at virtually every other aspect of the game.
Again I like his game. And I don't care if he plays the 2 or the 3 as long as you have two other guys in there with him that can shoot. I am all for going small like someone suggested with LMA, Wallace, Batum, Iggy, and Felton. I just see a few issues on offense in a half court set (Playoffs) with him in the game with a true center and Wallace at the 3. Personally I like as many shooters on the floor as possible. I like small ball. That is why I would prefer him at the 3.
