Supposedly Hollywood was well aware of her heroin habit and that was a major contributor (the heroin, not the awareness).
 
Was it her that had the masterbating video passed around at hollywood parties? I remember hearing about that shit a few years ago.

Well it is a rumour but there is a gossip writer named Ted Casablanca who suggested her penchant for drugs led to erratic behaviour and called her Jorcache Junkie when she was doing promo for that brand. If you search Brittney Murphy + drugs you can find a lot of stories about her online dating back a few years until now.
 
I didn't think her drug habit was a secret. You could look at the chick and tell she had some issues.

Same here.

The heroin thing surprised me. She looks more like a coke head or a meth freak.

Oh well, "natural causes"...toxicology reports could take up to 8 weeks.
 
The latest is that she swam in a river of painkillers she was given following multiple plastic surgeries.
 
LOS ANGELES – Severe anemia left actress Brittany Murphy weakened and vulnerable to pneumonia and the prescription medications she was using to treat it, according to an autopsy report released Thursday.

The report stated Murphy's menstrual period contributed to her anemia and left her in a weakened state and vulnerable to infection. It also contributed the effects that a host of drugs, including hydrocodone and acetaminophen, had on the 32-year-old actress, according to the report.

Coroner's officials had already concluded Murphy's death was accidental, but likely preventable. She died after collapsing in her Hollywood Hills home on Dec. 20.

The report notes that the medications found in Murphy's system were consistent with treatment of a cold or respiratory infection. Murphy's mother and husband had reported the actress was ill with flu-like symptoms in the days before her death.

An autopsy found no evidence that Murphy abused drugs.

^ I read the opposite, that she had meth and several other drugs in her system revealed by the autopsy. Strange.
 
I'm glad this is what came out for the sake of the family. We'll call them "white lies" in this case.

The papers gave a rundown of the prescription drugs Murphy had at her disposal. Under the toxicology section of the papers, a breakdown is given of what drugs were found in her system and where they found them: in her stomach was Propranolol, Hydrocodone, Phenazopyridine, Fluoxetine, Dextromethorphan, Chlorpheniramine, in her urine and in her blood/heart methamphetamines were found. No illegal drugs were detected in her body.

well she was pretty fucking sick..those were probably all prescribed to her
