S2 LORD OF THE NERDS!

I think I'm PapaG's ignore. Evidence: he used pronoun "they". If it were one of the many males he'd probably have said "he". If he said "she" it's a giveaway since so few women post regularly. So he used a gender neutral term. And he's accused me of an agenda in every post even when I say "Lillard had a good game".

Remind me to cry!

not you

I read them all, I skim them all. Every poster contributes and every poster has gone on tilt.

As a writer, Mook is a cut above the rest . . . but I'm biased because I enjoyed reading his book.

(I get that I wasn't mentioned, but I don't get how I rep everyone and Minny posters have almost as much rep bars as I do. Support your own FAMS!)

Edit: Bobo, Tlong and Pres deserve a shout out!

blah blah, the only person here I really pay attention is to Wheels.

Seriously, Nik is Lord of the Nerds, hands down. I don't always agree with him, but he brings the most sanity to thread run amok.

Nobody said KingSpeed either..... interesting.

I actually probably agree.

Minstrel hasn't been around much lately, but he's up there as well.

Thank you! That made my day. There are literally about 9 people who have read it, as far as I can tell. 4 hated it, 4 seemed to like it, and my wife is so nice I doubt I'll ever be sure about her. Currently ranked 8,190,971th on Amazon!

Oh well. I wanted to write a book once in my life and I did it.

It was a dark and stormy night...

I read everyone, ignore nobody. You all bring something I enjoy, even if it's just the pure aggravation.

First, a moment of silence for those fallen heroes of Free Speech no longer among us (Mixum and BenDavis503)

I have special respect for those who speak their mind even in the face of ridicule, an admiration for those who can pull it off without offending anyone, and the mods for showing much more restraint than on any previous board I've honored with my presence.

A few of the posters I would like to thank are barfo for his humor, jlprk for his wealth of worldly knowledge and writing talent, BrianfromWA for his sincerity and thick skin, THE HCP for his energetic exuberance, mediocre man for his dour unflappability, crandc for her honesty, Shooter for the best damn avatars and travel photos on the internet, ABM 'cause how can anyone not like ABM?, maxiep for his knowledge of the financial world, PapaG for his stubborness, Denny for his Mad Cow, HAAK72 for his activism, Kingspeed for his manic fandom, Baracuda for being the first to mention me in this thread :devilwink:, SlyPokerDog for his ability to defuse a situation, Masbee for always taking the time to mock my posts, Minstrel for his uncanny ability to answer questions I never posed while forgetting to address those I do, mook for his entrepreneurship, VanillaGorilla for his thirst for knowledge, Blazer Prophet for his foresight, chris_in_pdx for his hard nose, Rastapopoulos for his accuracy and fact checking, Treaty_of_Batum for his knowledge of the team, yuzayuza1 for recognizing Sergio's talent, westnob, mobes23, yakbladder, andalusian, yenniedn, julius, Mick Zagger, Fez Hammersticks, El Presidente, Nikolokolus, oldmangrouch, magnifier661, Blazinaway, Handclaproblematic, Nate Dogg, Sinobas, Stevenson, OddEnormous, 3RA1N1AC, NateBishop3, Rhal, 44Thrilla, Wizard Mentor, The Professional Fan, ebott, RoyToy, e_blazer, BlazerWookee, huevonkiller, Draco, espn_hall_of_famer, bluefrog, blazerboy30, Wheels, BoBoBREWSKI, BLAZINGGIANTS, Ed O (like your blog), drexlersdad, DaRizzle, Vinyard, Paxil, hoojacks, Rodolfo, Zybot, STOMP, LameR, Spud147, BTOWN_HUSTLA, BlazerFanForLife, OSUBlazerFan, Da_O, Colonel Ronan, The Sebastian Express, bodyman5001, Mr Chuck Taylor, AgentDrazenPetrovic, hasoos, gambitnut, MAS Rip City, santeesioux, tlongII, ehizzy3, blue32...Hey! Who cut off my mike! (Orchestra plays "Too Long" as Billy Crystal drags me from the podium)...:sigh:

Thank you for taking the time needed for this affectionate and well thought out post. I agree with thanking everyone for being part of the community - I really do.

However, as for Mixum, well I guess I'll honor him too with a glorious image:

I'd tell you I love you all, but that'd be a lie, so I won't.

I'd tell you I love none of you, but that would hurt your feelings.

So I'll just say this.... Truth hurts!

Putting on my Adidas this morning, which I won in the Prediction Game, I can't believe I forgot to thank GrandpaBlaze!
