While I don't see anything particularly intellectual about the thread, I don't find it offensive. Were it directed at Obama I would simply ignore it.

From the looks of the responses, I'm now certain I should have ignored it.

Just to be clear, I never objected to the thread. I objected to an in-your-face insulting thread title. I wasn't insulted by it personally, because I think Trump is a nitwit. But I do think that if the goal of the board is to foster discussion, putting cutsie insults in thread titles isn't conducive to that goal.

It appears that I was on a solo mission in my objection, so I'll just leave it where it ended yesterday.

Are you saying you want to see me react the same way if it’s one of the board’s right wingers using an insulting thread title? If so, then no problem. I’m not a mod, but I’m not a hypocrite either. If I see someone calling out the snowflakes or libtards in a title, I will call them out on it.
