Had one just like the picture below my junior year in high school. Sold my 1967 Ford Fairlane GTA with a 390 for the Mercury Cougar XR7 7 Litre GTE with a 427 side oiler pumping out a modestly rated 390hp and with some tweaks was probably running around 425hp. Kept telling a kid I knew from Madison High School that had a 67 Chevelle Malibu small block that was pretty quick and I told him I had a 302 and one night I finally open the hood to show him and he exclaims " I knew it, you have a 351 in there". I just smiled and said 'yeah, you got me", lol. Extremely rare car as only a little over 300 were made with the 427 and even fewer of the later 68's with the 428 Cobra Jet. Sold it and went to a 1967 Ford Mustang 390GT. Muscle car era was the best.

Very cool.

Very cool.
My dad was working at Marv Tonkin Ford at the time and a gal had brought it in with a blown head gasket and we were able to pick it up cheap and brought it home and fixed it. The Cougar had the looks and feel of a luxury car but with Ford's most powerful production engine. Last time the 427 was ever used in a production car. Had a hey day street racing other guys that figured it likely had a small block in it.

Another car that has my eye:

Yessir! Probably my favorite Audi for sure. Euro only!

BeerBoy......if I don’t go to a newer version of my A6 when I upgrade, I am thinking of going with the AllRoad. Bummed that they are now on the A4 chassis and not the A6 though. Poor man’s RS6!

I have a 2009 bmw 328i - Bmw makes a really nice car. I’ve never had a problem with it. I bought it at 42,000 miles, I think it has 80,000+ miles now. I’ve gotten it up to 145 a few times. Anyways, I don’t treat cars very gently, and this thing is holding up great. I’ve driven this thing up to timberline, with no chains or studs, with 2 snowboards in the back seat (Obviously the snowplows did their job that day).

Like 6 months ago, I got a 2012 jeep Grand Cherokee limited. I love this car. I never drive the bmw anymore, I’m gonna sell it to a friend.

Unless it’s built in the 60s, you wouldn’t catch me ever driving an American car FAMS.

I am not high on American cars usually, but I drove some really good American cars recently. The latest Camaro has a chassis Europeans should be afraid of - it feels way too nimble for such a heavy car. The Mustang GT350 has an amazing engine - that flat-crank V8 sounds like nothing else, and while it's chassis is not as good as the Camaro's - it is still very good.

The early RWD Tesla Model S was very good as well (the new ones I am not that crazy about). I have heard that the new Model 3 is also fantastic - but did not have a chance to drive one yet.

Finally, there are always Jeeps. I would love to have another Wrangler in my life.

We had a 4 door Wrangler in Kauai last year. Had a blast in it, because we could keep the roof panels off and charge all over the place for sure. It was fun, but wouldn’t own one I don’t think.
Wouldn’t have been able to get this shot without it!

Yes, I love the newer AllRoads. That'd be my car of choice if I had $$ to buy. They look bad ass with some lowering springs or coils and the fenders etc painted the same color as the car. I drool over the pics guys post of theirs on the Audizine forum. I'm not as big of a fan of them stock, they sit too high.
