He was a heavy smoker. Anyboy with addictions knows the risk. It's always sad when a good person with a bad habits becomes ill but they knew the risks.

Hopefully it's at an early stage. My father was diagnosed with stage 4 and he was gone in 18 months.

Yeah, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 also, and she was gone in less than 3 years. She never smoked.

My wife was a heavy smoker and diagnosed stage 4 and was gone 14 months later at age 60.

Jeeez....thats terrible @NYR31 , @NYR2009 and @mrmel29 Early detection is so important. Hope Bossy's isn't as advanced.

Yep, early detection is the key which is why u should get a yearly physical. Stage 4 means it’s spread to other organ(s) which is a death sentence and at that point your looking for meds, chemo and radiation to extend life as long as you can and hope a cure is found somewhere before your dead.

It’s scary to think what he could’ve done on top of what he did if he didn’t smoke. I thought Bossy was always a good dude I’m hoping he pulls through this.
