It's sad that she was killed. While the world needs to do something about the pirates/etc, they kind of did that to themselves though.

Point two of the thread:

The insane cost of the ships/planes/weapons that the US Military uses, it pretty much a good sign that we over spend for certain aspects of our military. If it apparently costs too much to fire something, then whats the point of having that something?

Because corporate greed has infected every aspect of our government, and it doesn't matter if the technology works, as long as we spend billions on it.

and those people LOVE to tell us we need to increase our spending and that if you disagree with that, you are unpatriotic and want to put the troops lives in peril.
