4 years probation?

2 year bowl ban?

30 Scholarships over 3 years?

Rumored at this point, but substantiated, I believe. That is harsh if close to accurate

where are you hearing this?

not questioning your source, just hadnt heard it lol

Put Oregon into Twitter search, the only source i can see saying anything is 1080 the fan.

Oh, and a Seattle radio show, no axe to grind there.

found some good play by play on DuckTerritory http://oregon.247sports.com/Board/45/Official-Duck-Tweets-11398897/3

this comment got me thinking,

It's actually from a Duck poster on the main board.

Seems like BS to me, Jim Tressell lied to the NCAA in freaking writing multiple times and had literally DOZENS of players taking tens of thousands of dollars in extra benefits, and they got 1 year bowl ban and 9 scholies over 3. Deliberately attempting to deceive the NCAA gets those penalties but Oregon gets USC sanctions? No.

Mosely checks in

Rob Moseley ‏@DuckFootball
Ducks say nothing to announce, FWIW RT @BobDeal11 what's all the noise about sanctions coming soon?

The internet is a cold and nasty place.

This reminds me of when everybody was up in arms about Kelly going to Tampa.

he's mad about the Rose Bowl ;)

I have a hard time believing these rumors at this point. I can't find anything substantial supporting the rumor.

And BOOM! goes the dynamite!

I was about to make the where's tlongII pigpile joke, but you're already in piling in on this obvious farce. Oh well

waves of sanctions have been immanently crushing Oregon for a year+ according to dawgman.com, yet UO has yet to receive an official Notice of Allegations from the NCAA. When/if that happens, it kicks off a whole new process that UO has months to respond to.

fans aren't privy to much, but unless you're looking to freak out, holding on to the few facts we have seems smart

STOMP

Another case of a sports journalist trying to make a name for himself?

Didn't this just happen about a week ago with the guy reporting that Auburn might see penalties because of Jovon Robinson's forged transcripts at Auburn?

Remember when they had a front page story about how the Saints were using video cameras to tap into the other team's plays? The case was handled by the police, who recently just reported that they found no evidence or wrongdoing on the Saints end. No harm no foul, right? Except for the Saints' reputation. Fucking ESPN.
