A Colorado man resembling Santa Claus robbed a branch of Academy Bank on Christmas Eve. The man apparently "threatened use of a weapon", but had none. Tellers handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and he walked outside, threw it up in the air and yelled Merry Christmas to passerby as they hurried to pick it up.
He then walked a block to a starbucks and waited patently to be arrested presumably while enjoying a coffee.
Thousands of Dollars remain "missing" or unrecovered.
