I don't see why you bring up Biden repeatedly. I don't really care one way or the other about him. *shrug*
I'm not ignoring your definition. I'm observing your application of your definition. You think Palin has common sense because she agrees with a lot of things you agree with. Shocking.
Palin is as dumb as a brick, and she treats her constituents like they are equally as dumb.
Do you really want to compare idiot fringes?

No, actually I'm interested to know.
Can you give me an example of one non-subjective thing that they've done that has illustrated their "liberal bias" and contempt for Palin?
Ever seen the unedited version of the Katie Couric interview?
Ah, the certitude of ignorance. And just when I think I'm the most arrogant poster on this forum. Thanks for giving me a run for my money.
No, do you have a link to it?
To be fair, ANY news organization whether the hated liberal media or the despised fascist media would capitalize on anything that was remotely out of bounds of stock answers because it generates viewers. So I expect some dramatics. But her interview was..well..all bad. All. It sounded from the clip I heard yesterday that Palin even said as much.
Nonetheless, I'd be interested to see an unedited version to get the overall message. I just don't think editing was making her say those answers.
To the Left, a "grassroots movement" is a wonderful thing as long as it's done to advance civil rights, protest global warming, or protect abortion. If it's undertaken against a Democratic president who is trying to create a new socialist order, however, it's a horrible thing being carried out by stupid, ignorant people. You can disparage people who attend tea party protests all you wish, but it's the very definition of a grass roots movement.
Yes, it's called public education.Should there be a Special Politics, where everyone is a winner, no matter their mental disabilities?
Yes, it's called public education.
Yes.I must not have gotten enough public education, because I don't understand what you are trying to say. Education is politics? We shouldn't pick on Palin because she went to public schools? Something else?

barfo
Yes.
Public education is a world where the dumb get promoted because it would just be too painful to hold them back. Everybody's a winner, don't you know!!!

I saw her interview on Oprah.
It never occurred to me that she was offended by Couric's question about what she reads. She said she took it as an insult, as in "you're stupid, can you even read?"

You believe that, or do you think she was confused as to what to say, like, if she said The New York Times then maybe she'd lose street cred with the reds? Or maybe Couric would follow up by asking who her favourite columnist was and she wouldn't be able to answer that so she just panicked. Her response was terror not indignity, that's just the way she played if off afterward to save face. IMHO.I saw her interview on Oprah.

LOL! Yeah, now.I think she came across with Oprah as being at least able to name a few newspapers or whatever.
LOL! Yeah, now.
why shouldn't Americans be afraid of having an idiot in charge? I realize some of are very interested in who is attractive looking, but I'd rather have the smart people calling the shots.I'm not going to spend the evening citing example after example, but, let's face it, the libs are afraid of Palin. And, I ask why? I mean, she ain't even in politics right now/ OK, she wrote a book. Big whoop. She's more of a novelty to me. Again, though, why the incredible interest by so many as to what she does? Especially if she's a stupid conservative bag of wind?

I don’t know if Sarah Palin plans to run for another political office in her lifetime. My gut tells me that she won’t and she really doesn’t need too. The truth is that running for office wouldn’t give her any more influence over the attitudes and beliefs of the American electorate than she does already. I see her as more of a senior statesperson that serves as an ombudswoman to the Republican Party. Chances are good that the GOP will be back in control within the next few years and everyone knows that they have an uncanny ability to shoot themselves in the foot whenever in power.
Having someone like Sarah Palin to use her voice and growing influence to keep politicians accountable on behalf of Middle Americans would be more powerful of a position than the Presidency. I suspect that her book is just the beginning of the Palin era on national politics.
