Am I the only person that doesn't find her funny? She's been getting so much hype lately and has her own show now too. But, I just don't really laugh during her jokes. I mean, I might chuckle once or twice but nothing really stands out. And its not like I'm not getting them either. She's being offensive to poke fun of what we find offensive. Just not that great, IMO.

I was quite amused by her "Jesus is Magic" (or something like that) special.

As for her weekly show, I haven't seen it.

I used to find her funny when I didn't see her all that often. Her act is hilarious the first few times you see it, but after you get used her kind of humor, you get used to it and there's nothing else to her comedy besides what you said.

I appreciate how offensive she is (as long as it's under that Michael Richards level) to be honest. PC whores suck.

Yea, its that initial shock value she brings. After that, there's nothing particularly special about her humour IMO. She's like a smarter, less annoying Carlos Mencia.

She uses the same exact joke over and over, and I don't think she deserves her own show on comedy central.

Seeing that name makes me want to make a Sarah Silverman racist-style joke about Mencia and his Hispanic heritage (btw I'm Hispanic so don't freak out).

Carlos Mencia is the worst excuse for a stand-up comedian I've ever seen. I know that's OT, but I felt like throwing that out there.

As for Sarah Silverman, I don't think she's shocking nor funny. I watched her show the other day and did wind up getting some laughs from it though. However, most of those laughs came from Brian Posehn and his TAB jokes rather than Sarah Silverman and her lesbian/fart jokes.

Yea, by no means did I mean to equate her with Mencia who's an absolutely terrible comedian. But her humour is sort of one-dimensional like his. I will give her credit for thinking of a creative version of the Aristocrats joke.

Pretty much agree with what everyone else said. Shes funny at first just because she says some stuff that is offensive even for a stand-up comedian (not saying I don't enjoy the offensiveness though). After you've seen her a while shes just not funny at all, after the shock value wears off sh ereally doesn't have anything actually funny to say.

Well her songs are just for fun but not horribly funny.

Thanks for saying what needs to be said Chutney.

She works great as a side character. See: Mr. Show. However, she is not good enough, funny enough, or smart enough to carry herself. I watch her new show for Brian Posehn and Jay Johnston.

No, it's not terrible. It's a lot of things, but terrible isn't one of them. The controversial topics she uses may make it polarizing, but it doesn't take a genius to read into what she's saying with most of her episodes...

I'd love to hear more why you think it's terrible, instead of "I have no idea who she is... Her show sucks"
