Sometimes I feel like the blazers wasted some great opportunities a few years ago. I wonder what an actual good coach could have done with this team back then?

The only season the Blazers had what I would call real success was 2008. You think we beat the Rockets in the first round if we had a better coach? Like let's say you could replay that series with Nate coaching the Rockets and Adelman coaching the Blazers.

I was referring to the pace of Nate's offense - milking the clock on every possession. It reminded me of the pre-24 second clock days.

All of the coaching positions seem to be filling up fast and Nate hasn't gotten one yet. That means either he is not in demand, or he is negotiating for the one he really wants.

I wonder which it is, and if he is in the driver's seat, which club wants him?

I think we would have had a better chance to win that series, and possibly even the Suns series if we had a better coach. Nate was never good at making adjustments in a series.

In the many years since he left here, Cheeks has learned things as apprentice to others. McMillan should put in some time as Asst. Coach and he'd improve, too.
