LHP - C.C. Sabathia (6-10, 4.73)

VS.

LHP - Mike Pelfrey (6-11, 4.26)

Over/under on CC is 4 runs, I'd say over. LINEUPS TO FOLLOW..........

BTW: For those loving great pitching & if you get FS1 (Fox sports one) at 4PM is the Dodgers & Giants, Kershaw vs. Bumgarner. Kershaw has been on his game so far while Bumgarner has struggled since ST.

Yeah. But the Giants own Da Bums
of late..... :smiley-beerchug:

****Me too. I say CC is over 4 runs.

Gee, CC pitching today....sure hope the offense rested up. Lol!

Today's starting lineup..............

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
DH - A-Rod
1B - Teixeira
C - McCann
RF - Beltran
2B - Castro
SS - Gregorius
3B - Torreyes

Lineup just doesn't look the same without Drew.

Yeah, its like a big part of our lineup is missing.

First 3 innings for CC = no runs, & no hits on only 34 pitches. Yankees lead 6-0

Forth inning CC walks the bases loaded followed by a 2 run single on 34 pitches. Yankees lead 6-2 going to the 5th.

CC line is about the best I'm gonna expect all season.

CC - 6 IP 3 ER, lol.....in yer face! lol
And Yanks pummeled another ho-hum him starter.

Drew? Nah, he's no longer here....this is the 2016 season.

But one of the BIG questions remains, will the loss of Warren hurt the Yanks more than what Castro will provide.

Yanks avg age now under 30 yrs old and this is with four players in their mid- late 30s and ONE player who is 40 years old....
Three of thoses players will be GONE next year....sounds like a PLAN to me..? By the way, we also have a 26 yr old 4th outfielder (making 500K?) who is undoubtedly one of the very best defensive outfielders in the league with an excellent throwing arm and has already made a great run saving catch...and hit .307/ .870 OPS vs LHP last year... has yet to play a full season......I'll to ahead and say something crazy like, maybe there's a chance he can improve and be a factor in the next couple of seasons.

Looks like The Plan is already taking shape right before yer eyes.
(open them)

Newsflash- Arod,Beltran,CC, Tex will soon be gone and Bird is ready to take over 1st base next year - AND, Sanchez, possibly Judge-Heathcott- Mason Williams are knocking on the door....we may see them this year.

Get on board.
Put your prejudice of Cashman aside for at least a few moments so we can all breath fresh air.

Last but not least- I am rooting my ass off for the Yanks to win more games than "da bums" (what a clown)....and the accomplice carpetbagger SF Giants.......that's just the way is with ME.

By the way- this Yankee fan doesn't give a rat's ass about a Baumgarter - Kershaw matchup.
Sorry but....April 9th baseball has me focused of MY Yankees.

I only have ONE TEAM!

GO YANKS!

I am happy for the Yankees glad CC had a nice game, the sun does shine on every dogs ass sometimes. Lets see what September bring. Mad Bum vs Kershaw a baseball fans delight, I am a one team guybut give kudos to others wh excel on an individual basis.

As expected a 2-1 pitchers duel with the Giants leading in the 8th. Bumgarner homers off Kershaw.

...WTF ?........what is wrong with you?...seriously.

Apparently he still believes that pitching to an ERA of 4.50 (3 runs in 6 innings) is acceptable.

Acceptable, no. Expected, but sadly only at his best.

...yup, and evidently you are being ridiculed for having the unmitigated audacity to mention that Bumgarner hit a HR...now don't you feel ashamed?

God, can the season just play out or at least get started without this same rinse wash and repeat nonsense as last year?

Yeah they mentioned this on yesterday's telecast & all I could say was, REALLY? Some players just don't know when to walk away.

...he's been so bad that the Braves cut him and actually ate his multi-million dollar salary for this year.

...declining batting skills and 2 recent knee surgeries...why did Cashman even bother with this?

...I thought the plan was to get younger and more athletic?

Well when the plan is to pull things out of your ass.....this is what you get, another shitty move.
