Im going wednesday. For first time in a long time im excited to go to the movies.

...this movie took forever to release, hope it's as good as the hype because the trailer last year was hilarious! Anyone see it yet???

I really look forward to every animated film I see nowadays (much more than I do regular motion pictures.) Almost all of them are well written, directed and produced. I thought "The Secret Life of Pets" was one of the best films I'd seen in eons!

Can't wait. Going to see it ASAP.

Just watched it. Kind of disappointed tbh. It was okay, laughed a few times, a couple bizarre scenes, but overall thought it was average.

I have a six year old grandson. I'll take him and give a detailed review worthy of a self absorbed critic

I haven't seen it yet but I have to assume that being high would immensely improve my enjoyment of the movie. I'll probably do that.

Wasn't there also a problem when Deadpool came out with dumb parents taking their elementary school-aged kids without knowing it was an adult movie?
South park the movie was that way. I saw it with my dad when i was like 13 and we had a great time. But some parents got up and left with their kids during the middle of the movie.

Not sure why R in the States means adult accompaniment and not no minors allowed. In Canada there is a split between 18A (your R) and R (no minors). Studios try to avoid hard-R's in the same way they avoid NC-17's in the US. Why allow minors at all?

Two related stories: mum took my friend, my younger brother, and myself to see Stargate on my birthday many years ago. Was sold out at the booth. Looking at the other films playing she suggested The Specialist because it had Stallone in it. My friend and I knew it was being marketed as having an extended sex scene in it but played dumb. Got to see it. Told vivid accounts of Sharon Stone the next day in school.

Second one: same friend, tried to get into John Carpenter's Vampires when it came out. We were under 14 and the theatre wouldn't let us in (14A). Pretty much how it should be.

Dunno why both films have James Woods and both are pretty shit but in any case thanks for reading.

I saw a family with young children in the theater. They were not there when the movie was over. Yeah, some parents are weird. I even saw people with young kids at The Conjuring 2. My wife is like "those poor kids." I'm like those poor and stupid parents -- they ain't getting any sleep tonight.

Sausage Party is secretly about the evils of religion. Also there is a bizarre food orgy. There is a douche and a condom. It's just weird, and definitely very adult

Those are some dumb ass parents. They should've known before buying tickets.
