Maybe it's just cuz I'm mad the government is overrun by complete morons, and instead of doing things in the way that best benefit the economy and the environment.... they fuck everything up.

I'm going to blame corrupt government officials who took bribes from lobbyists. Alcohol industry lobbied hard in the ban against reefer. The oil companies successfully destroyed the public trans system in SoCal in the early-1900's. The list goes on. Greed and money.

And there's my reason to toke up - to calm down and forget our shitty our government is, so I just kick back, relax, and enjoy my evening (and life in general).

That's a great ? to ask. Especially since we recycle so much paper these days. I'd still say paper is would make up a pretty significant figure, though.

I believe Poplar is used for making paper too, and that stuff grows like weeds. I wonder if the mass farming of poplar has made an impact too.

I know there are some invasive non-native species in Eastern Oregon that are harvested and used for lots of Ag projects. Those lands are then planted with less-agressive native species. The vineyard my company owns uses the lumber from the harvested trees for all of our trellising and similar projects.
