Then read about it on ESPN Yankees signed Heath Bell to a minor league deal. What in the hell do they want with that guy. When Tampa Bay released him I was going to write up a Heath Bell released get on it Cashman as a joke post.

The Yankees have absolutely no use for this guy. What the hell is Cashman doing?

Trying to figure that one out myself. I think Girardi is almost spot on with his pen. They need Heath Bell like they need a hole in the head.

Minor league deal...not too concerned, yet.

In other news the bidding on Samardijza has started, Cubbies entertaining offers.

And speaking of game ticker, the hype around this Polanco kid in Pittsburgh is something else.

...geez, it's a minor league deal...I really don't see the problem.

...lol...yeah, I mean this is a no lose situation/move by the Yanx...."no risk/high reward".

...I don't see him going anywhere soon...the Cubs will listen to a lot of offers before unloading him.

Well sure, but offers do have time limits...I think he moves before Jeter's 40th bday.

...when I said "any time soon", I meant not within the next week or so.

Honestly I really don't see the Cubs moving him. I mean you tease the fans with a good player only to trade him away, not a good start to rebuilding which is what I constantly hear that they're trying to do. JMO.

Then that seals it Rick, they will definitely move him. ;)
