I'm looking at it like Pippin, we didn't like him until he came to the Blazers. That worked out pretty well.
I liked Pippen pre-PDX.

Me too. Wonder why he left the seahawks?
I don't really care about either one but this cracked me upWho had the better record in 1994?
Same answer as your question. Nobody gives a fuck. Season over. Coming season, Niners all day.
NFL Memes@NFL_MemesYa know, I just thought about when I first moved to the pacific northwest in the late 80s. I was 8 and the first friend I made there was a guy from the bay area, a big 49er fan. He had a gold and red jacket to prove as much. Being that they were the talk of the nation back then, I was actually a 49er "fan" for a bit. Even through the mid-90s, I would pull for them during playoffs (not like the seahawks were ever involved). Tbh, I still have no hate for the niners and I've always liked their unis (weird, I know).
It was Joe Montana that made me infatuated with the 49ers.
As a 49ers fan, I like this move. No way to know yet if he recovers 100% from his Achilles tear, but he was still playing at prime level before he tore it:
And that was with an already-injured Achilles, as it was reportedly bothering him before it tore.
If he recovers physically, I think he'll still be a top-ten cornerback (so, off his peak level where he was one of the top two or three corners) which is well worth the incentive-laden deal the 49ers gave him. The 49ers badly needed a starting cornerback and I prefer taking this fairly risk-free (based on the contract details that have come out) flier on Sherman than signing someone like Trumaine Johnson or Malcolm Butler to a huge deal with a lot more guaranteed money.
