White middle aged men driving blue mini vans are the most angry people on the planet
The 'street kids' of Portland make me sick.
What are we turning into, Los Angeles?!![]()
gay people getting married makes my marriage less valuable. If one more gay person gets married, i'll divorce my wife and start fucking men.
Not because of the whole gay thing. But how he slipped it into the conversation.
You have your opinion, I have mine.I cannot stand people who are for restrictions on gay couples and stand for the prohibition of a gay couple's rights to become married. It is absolutely sickening to me. It is one of those issues where some think, "You have your opinion, I have mine. There is no correct answer". I say bullshit. You have no right to restrict the freedom of homosexuals based solely on your religious "morals".
I can't stand those people.

I think it's insane that people think because they pursue a deviant mode of having sexual intercourse they are considered a different subgroup or special interest group of people. It's fine with me if you want to do it legally, but that's your choice and it comes with the consequences of it (i.e., not being able to get "married").
An example...there is a constitutional amendment protecting free speech. If I speak out against my boss to say "You suck", I can be fired. My right to free speech is still in effect...the consequences are those I have to deal with.
To pretend it's "Christian religious principles affecting your life" is incorrect. Sure, the Christian religion as usually practiced denounces homosexual sex among its believers. Nowhere in the bible does it say to judge or persecute non-believers who practice it. Many of the laws from around the world that used to punish sodomy (again, I think that's wrong) were in countries that DO NOT have a Christian influence, much less a Christian theocracy. 70 countries of 195 in the world still have sodomy laws, though most "christian" countries (North America, Western Europe, Australia) have repealed sodomy laws (democracy in action? More like judicial review...not sure it would pass democratically.) Get off the "it's me against the Christian wacko's" kick--it's unbecoming.

Out of curiosity, has it been decided that this thread is exempt from site policy and is allowed to be a venue for racism/sexism and other forms of bigotry? I'm not currently pointing a finger at anyone, but asking for clarification (probably best from Denny Crane as resident High Muckity Muck).
