Did I know this and forget? My son was in Head Start. I owe that program a great deal. He got to go even though we were slightly over budget. I was Vice Chair of the Policy Council and Chairman of our parent group. I got to interview and hire my son's teacher! My son learned to love learning there and was reading fluently in kindergarten.
