Their is being a troll and their is being a dick and that avatar crosses the damn threshold!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we will have to turn into a Devil's Brigade. We can do it!

Rooting for this team can be difficult. When you think they're going to win like mad, they struggle. When you've given up on them, they surge.

However, if we win games against teams that we have a better percentage than, we'll be in great shape.
And we WILL win those games... Theoretically. Possibly. Maybe.

Here's a look at how the Blazers will finish if they win the games against teams with lower percentage, and lose against teams with better percentage -

They'll finish 46-36, 0.561. (The Blazers are currently tied with Denver - I gave them a L for the one game they play against Denver to be conservative/negative.)

A 0.561 winning percentage would currently put them in the 5th seed.

Lots of tough games to finish off the year, but if they take care of business against the lower tiered teams, and pick up a few 'surprise' wins against the upper tiered teams, the Blazers will be sitting in a good position.

I'm excited about the potential of this team. I think Nurk is going to finish strong the remainder of the year and the Blazers will be the team nobody wants to play come playoff time!

5th seed. 7 games over where I had them. If we do that I will be stoked!

We've had an easy January and February schedule.

The good thing is that in March, teams are going to rest stars for the playoffs and other players are dinged up or disheartened by their contending chances.

Bring em on!!! It's more fun beating superstars anyway...then if you do lose you say....yeah...they have a bunch of stars but we played hard anyway
Let's not forget the geographical location denying top tier stars from wanting to be in the great North West.

That is a Popovich idea. I think teams striving for higher seeds will give their stars extended minutes as their berths are revealed. Teams cast to the last two spots may be content to just join the dance and entertain the rest idea.
For example: Who really wants to play GS or Toronto in the first round.? Once a team in the top two seeds capitalizes and wins on the opponents court, count the round in favor of the dominate seed.
