Do you think some part of the coaching staff has been assigned to start reviewing film or planning for golden state?

I read somewhere that if we win Friday, we play gsw on this Sunday! Not much time to prep if true.

Let me just clarify, I don't think the Blazers, players, can look passed the clippers. But you have to have some time to game plan.

To answer the question, yes, I bet Stotts has some low-level assistants and video guys doing work on the Warriors already. He would never admit it though and he would tell those people to not let the players on our team find out.

I think you absolutely have to begin a contingency plan for a potential next opponent. Not counting chickens before they hatch, simply planning next moves if current moves are successful. It would be stupid not to at least prepare the material that will be used to game plan and prepare the team for a possible match-up with a possible next round opponent, and even more-so considering the current circumstances.

If they win tonight, they will have tape and workouts ready to go by tonight at 11:00 p.m.

Its gotta be full out.

There's nothing left to gameplan for the clips. We know what we need to do.

It's standard procedure to scout the next Playoff series to prepare. It's not even done in a sneaky nature.

Pull a CP3 and punch em all in the balls...no we aren't bitches like that

I think after losing the first two games of this series our experience will help us sneak out of Oakland with at least a 1-1 tied series

Nope we still need to beat the Clippers. I don't want to lose tonight and go back to L.A.

Stotts calling his wife: " Hey, Honey I'll be sleeping at the office tonight to prepare for the warriors." Hangs up takes bottle of scotch out of the drawer, pushes play and starts to watch the footage...

Idk why but I picture an old school projector with the reel playing and him smoking American spirits.

Nah, the game is already won.

On to Golden State.

Good thing your not the coach!

It's almost like what we're focused on has no relevance to what happens on the court. ;)

Hey folks - this is who we're tar & feathering if we lose tonight.

I don't believe in jinxes and jinxes don't believe in me.

Anyway, even if Portland loses game 6, game 7's pretty much a lock for Portland. I mean, the Clippers are down their two best players!

Stotts said this tonight:

"Our scouting and video, we’re prepared from that standpoint. The coaches, we haven’t put together a game plan or anything like that, all the legwork’s been done, now it’s just a matter of coming up with a game plan.”

I don't want to overlook Livingston here. Yes offensively he isn't close to as good as Curry but he can consistantly hit that mid range floater at a CP3 like clip and thats a shot we give up all day long. Also Livingston is light years better defensively so while the Warriors offense will suffer there already great D will become better. Lillard needs to have a much better series if we want to make the Warriors sweat and he is going to have a hard time with Klay or livingston on him, the upside is when Lillard plays in Oakland he likes to go Super Saiyan

Livingston is "light years better defensively"!? Better than Chris Paul on defense? LOL, no! Look, Livingston is a decent defender but he's nothing special, at all! I mean, sure, he's tall... but I'm pretty certain Lillard isn't intimidated AT ALL by Nick Cannon trying to guard him!

I think he meant, "light years better" than Curry on defense.
