That makes it even more imperative. Why buy a 140 dollar machine you barely use that breaks out of warranty every time? Not if but when.We only make one cup a day.
These are a must buy also. Why pay $0.25 to $0.50 a pod, when it can be filled out of a can for cheap. (We use basic Folgers). Let them dry out, tap it in the garbage, rinse, and you're ready to go again....A Keurig is top 5 on the list of things you MUST buy at Costco people!
We've got great tap water here and yet I filter it.That makes it even more imperative. Why buy a 140 dollar machine you barely use that breaks out of warranty every time? Not if but when.
If you lived in Vegas and made the mistake of putting tap water in it you'd understand.
I hate 85 percent of the brands we've tried. I like a few quite a bit.I’ve got two or three keurigs in my storage. I hate them and people kept giving them to us as gifts. It’s just not coffee to me, it’s more like highly caffeinated brown tasteless water. I like to taste my coffee. Plus you can get a drip coffee maker for like $20 anywhere.
I like Don Francisco’s a lot. I have a buddy who’s a roaster though so we go that route quite a bit. Freshly ground beans are the tits. I buy the cheapo drip pots and run my coffee through twice to make it super dark. It wears the machines out quicker but at $20 a pop, fuck it.I hate 85 percent of the brands we've tried. I like a few quite a bit.
Don Franciscos Kona Blend
Newmans Own Organic
Peets.
The rest...meh.
The Keurig is for when we're too lazy to boil water for the french press. Have two stainless steel versions I got on Amazon and we love them.
Don Franciscos Kona Blend
I like Don Francisco’s a lot.
Winco has the small boxes for around 3.98 every so often. I buy all they have on the shelf. We like Don Francisco's too. The Kona and the vanilla are both delicious.
Thanks for the tip. I love the taste of excellent coffee. It makes all the difference in the world between wanting a cup of coffee and multiple refills or not wanting a cup of coffee after the first sip.I’ve got two or three keurigs in my storage. I hate them and people kept giving them to us as gifts. It’s just not coffee to me, it’s more like highly caffeinated brown tasteless water. I like to taste my coffee. I love vanilla, I'll bet I'd enjoy it.Winco has the small boxes for around 3.98 every so often. I buy all they have on the shelf.
