What's up with him? He looks bad when he's out there. Missing rotations. Letting his man beat him. Where's the defensive guy we saw?

Looks like he has happy feet and he's always overreacting to plays. Biting on pump fakes all the time. Is he loading up on Red Bull or something?

I was wondering the same things last night, it looks like his offense has suffered the most from kidds departure.

But theres no excuse for the lack of defensive production. I mean it looks as if hes not getting off the floor as high for block, or his timing is off. He's playing sloppy defense as well, picking up touch fouls. I figure its his stamina and hes probably getting tired midseason. The guy only played something like 15 games last season for BC. He's in a midseason slump and i hope he'll break out of it down the stretch.

Last night he checked in and I got all pumped, I haven't seen him play much this year. He looked pretty bad out there. Wonder what happened?

No more Kidd + addition of new guys who could take/are taking some of his minutes + the old "rookie wall" = what happened.

Ya'll keep forgetting, the kid is Raw. We knew this when we drafted him, he'll show flashes but he needs alot of work considering his lack of expierience. He needs to put on a few lbs as well.

When you get inconsistent minutes you give inconsitent performances.
See Josh Boone until December, Marcus til a week ago and pretty much every player who Frank hasn't fallen in love with.
Nenad took mintues (with worse production) Diop has taken minutes and Frank has fallen in love with Boki at the 4 with Boone by himself as the only big...

In short we are deepest in the frontcourt...yet Frank utilizes a 3 man rotation.

That is because Frank always make his rotations without any real understanding of the situation at hand.

Dont get me wrong he prepares very well, its just come gametime, you'd often swear he was blindfolded

He's getting inconsistant minutes since the All Star break because he's been real bad when he's been out there. Picking up a lot of fouls too. His minutes were fine before he started running around the court like a chicken with his head cut off.

He's I think done for the year. Of course he may get a second wind but even without that, he did a hell of a good job for barely playing in college and helping out here.

Just like Boone, I assume he comes out damn strong in his second year.

It actually began a week or so before the All-Star Break. Sean just doesn't seem to have that same impact and energy that we saw early on in the season. I don't think he's used to the big schedule that the Nets deal with. Don't forget he got kicked off his college team...half way into the season (?) last year. Obviously he has yet to work so hard for so long.

I think its just a combination of hitting a "rookie wall," the franchise's instability, and opponents actually recognizing what he can do and making adjustments.

What does franchise instability and opponents recognizing what he can do have to do with him looking lost on defense?

Completely agree. It seems as if Frank has no clue what's going on out there. Boki sucks, Nenad's inconsistent. Why wasn't Diop and Sean playing more?

Frank also seems to going to the post less and less, even with Nenad out. What the hell is he thinking? I mean, in the Indiana game, we were playing great. We were attacking the paint, and getting the ball down low. What happened? Boone went 6-6 (and got to the line once, 0-2 :\ )...so then why didn't Frank go to him more??? Why didn't Frank try to make more plays for Boone?

And why the fuck did he let Vince, RJ, and Marcus have their way on offense, and just chuck up shots? I swear, it seems like he has absolutely no discipline for these guys.

He's hit a rookie wall. Expect him to pick his game up slightly then stay at that level for the rest of the season. Most rookie's in the NBA have hit it by now with the exception of Al Thorton i guess.

Marcus actually is a pretty good perimeter shooter and honestly I though his shot selection last night was pretty good.

Vince and RJ however piss me off...both of them are guilty of ignoring offensive plays and schemes and instead chuck up shitty shots or better yet drive to the hoop and fake getting fouled. RJ is particurlarly bad about always looking for a foul...dude sometimes barely gets hit and will toss his arms in the air like he's having a siezure. Early in the season he was getting those calls but now I think the officials even see he's a bullshit artist.

As for Frank and the frontcourt! I hate his rotation and the fact that he doesn't run any plays for them...Also Vince and RJ ignore Boone alot. He's wide open and instead they chuck up a bullshit shot...so many games I've seen Boone streaking to the hoop open and RJ or Vince opt instead to take a contested jumper.

Sean got badly abused when he was in there. He was a liability. Diop can't defend Hedo or Lewis. And on offense neither is a great enough shooter to create space. Orlando was packing the paint with Howard at the center of it all. We have one big that can shoot a jumpshot and that's Nenad.

You don't need to be a good shooter. Sean's got moves in the post. And you don't need to have a jumpshot to be able to make a dunk or a layup.

Why didn't guys try to consistently attack the basket, and get Dwight in foul trouble? That woulda been a hell of a gameplan!

And please. Nenad can't shoot for shit anymore. He's just as bad and inconsistent as Boki, now.

Thank You! Swift and Swat both have post moves that make Howard have to respect them, Boone has also improved...By playing a combination of them Howard couldn't stand in the middle of the paint meaning the one big or a driving RJ or Vince would get a clear shot at the basket...

Howard may be quick enought to recover, but most likely he'd still get into foul trouble...

Yeah that Dwight Howards is a pushover to score on. Oh yeah, he's also only fouled out once all season and that was against Yao.

Since Diop didn't score a single point I think we know how this one went.

Dwight blocking Marcus. Wow, what a surprise!

Do you even know how that play w/ Boki went? Neither do I. That proves nothing. He could have passed it, or made a bucket. Or gotten a foul call.

And look at RJ. Trying to put it up against Dwight, instead of dumping it down low to Sean right next to him. That's nice.

And that last picture is of Diop going up to get a rebound against Dwight, who is also reaching for the rebound. I remember that. I believe Diop passed it out to Marcus, and they reset the offense. And missed a shot.

Funny.

I was just illustrating that the guy is a beast in the paint. That's all. Like I said, he's only fouled out once all season against Yao. (And I thought the Marcus block was obscenely impressive, both on Howard's part and the photographer that caught it)

I don't see Sean or Diop alongside Boone having much success against him in the post offensively. And again, they would've gotten killed by either Turkoglu or Lewis with blow bys or pull up jumpers on the offensive end. Even though they each scored 25 one of them easily could've gone for 35.

And also, like I said earlier, they played them solid for 44 minutes. They weren't struggling to find an answer to beat them until the last 4 minutes. Were you guys expecting us to blow the Magic out?
