That was the year they started 6-3 and once they got to 500. they never went back above. That was the year Zach had micro fracture and Miles got that huge deal. We were a fringe 8th seed that year and things got real bad.

This year you can see the same going down. Roy is 1 injury away from out for season due to surgery. The pieces dont fit as they didnt that year and most likely nate will be fired as was cheeks.

The team didn't start 6-3 in 2004-05. They started 2-3 and were 4-5 their first nine games.

In the previous year they were 5-5 before giving Bonzi Wells away and then making the Rasheed Wallace deal later in the year.

what about the sheed blazer team that started 13-18 to win 50 games in 01-02?

they remind me of this bunch in a weird kinda way

I think you mean the 2003-04 season, MIXUM. That season we were 9-7 after 16, and finished 41-41. Their SRS (simple rating system) for that season was -0.58; currently we're at -0.12. Out of all the seasons in our history, this one looks most like that one statistically.

There are a lot of differences between these two teams, the most important being that the "Media + Fans - Wins = Hate Blazer Players" equation isn't set up... yet (count on Canzano to light some tinder soon), so you won't see the fire sale we had in 2004.

Given the above, I don't expect that 2004-2007 will happen again in the same way it did before.

And no, I can't just stay away from this place.

yep that was the season im talking about it.... fighting for 8th seed but hovering around 500... staying very average all year

we missed the playoffs that year

and good god.... amazingly we were actually better after 16 games lol
