Terry can move on. There is always a career in real estate.

CJ had a bad night in NO. Only 8 pts

Season was over when it was obvious we weren't going to contend for anything. So it was over in November.

It's just how they want to officially end it. Losing in the playoffs, or playing the lotto

After a big blow out by the Pelicans, who still believe we go to the playoffs? We face now The Spurs, in a Back to back. Its safety to say: another loss

So you guys think Stotts its the right coach for next season?
I still believe. We can't win every game but we did win 5 of 6 ( really 6 of 6 ) before that loss.

When you see the glass as half empty, then the world will seem very negative.

When you see the glass as half full, then the world will seem very positive.

My thought for the day....

Then you better drink the Coors down a bit to get it to half way!!!

And am I getting this right? You are complaining about a glass being too big???????

@Chris Craig are you hearing this???

WTF!?!? A glass to big for @BlazerWookee. The last sign of the apocalypse

It's the defense. We are embarrassing on defense. Scheme, accountability, effort. That's Stotts, or mostly on Stotts

I tend to agree. I would like to keep Terry because he does have a lot of positives. Players seem to love him, even the ones who do not get minutes. Usually even coaches who are considered a "Player's Coach" wear their welcome out with certain guys.

Having said that if he does not hire a defensive guru and lets him change things up he will need to go. Some coaches in the past have done this and succeeded. I believe Hollins did this in Memphis, and I think Doc did it in Boston with Thibs and as I recall Dick Harter bounced around helping teams improve. Terry needs to find one.

This.

If Teryr thinks he is a one man band, he needs to get his marching orders for the parade to leave town. If he will compromise and bring in a defensive coach and/or a big man coach, then in my book he is good to go...err I mean stay. :).

As for the OP, I think Stotts gets one more year at a bare minimum. If we're in the same boat this time next year, it's off with his head!

He of all people should know a good coaching combo gets the job done like he did next to carlilse when they won the trophy together.
