First the findings from media (source):
http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...tigation-finds-horrifying-criminal-practices/

Second the Gov report.
https://energycommerce.house.gov/si...s/Select_Investigative_Panel_Final_Report.pdf

1) It’s wrong to say the pro-abortion crowd don’t value the disabled.

Advanced Biosciences Resources (ABR) had a “technician” embedded at a Planned Parenthood clinic who reportedly harvested and sold the skin of a Down Syndrome baby for $325.

2) Selling baby parts is very profitable.

To be clear, the law is unambiguous; it is illegal to make a profit providing organs or any part of a human for research or medical treatment.

But Planned Parenthood and their business partners made a lot of money selling aborted baby body parts, according to the report.

3) A bountiful harvest

And “harvesting” is exactly what they were doing. The House investigation uncovered how “technicians” would look at the patient list in advance and try to sell the baby parts before the abortion. After securing the advance sale (with its massive profits) the technician would then be allowed to go and ask the pregnant woman to sign a consent form.

4) Planned Parenthood falsely claimed to help cure AIDS.

Yes, you read that right – in order to convince women to allow them to harvest their baby’s body parts, the Planned Parenthood consent form told the vulnerable women that the parts had been used to find a cure for AIDS.

As a Planned Parenthood official admitted under oath to the House investigation, “there is no cure for AIDS. So that is probably an inaccurate statement.”

From the report:

According to several of his employees, including [Employee #1] and [Employee #2], who were medical assistants, and [Employee #3], who assisted with administrative tasks, numerous patients of [Abortion Doctor #3] delivered infants alive prior to their demise, which the doctor himself brought about. Specifically, [Employee #1], who assisted the doctor in the operating room at the Aaron Women’s Clinic (Aaron), estimated that “during a typical week with a full patient load, . . . [Abortion Doctor #3] would perform abortions at 20 or more weeks gestation, i.e., later in the second trimester or in the third trimester, on approximately 40 patients.

Of that number, [Employee #1] asserted:

approximately three or four infants would show signs of life. This typically happened when infants were extracted from the cervix in a breech position. At times, the infant would slide completely out because of the extent of the dilation caused by the laminaria administered to patients. In all such cases, [Abortion Doctor #3] would terminate their lives." The signs of life they exhibited would include movement of the stomach as the infant breathed or movement of the toes or fingers. [Abortion Doctor #3] would terminate the lives of these infants, [Employee #1] further alleged based on those incidents she witnessed, by any of several methods, including the following:

snipping the infant’s spinal cord with scissors;

cutting the neck with Sopher forceps or similar instruments;

twisting the infant’s head;

using forceps, other instruments, or his finger to crush the “soft spot” of the infant’s head, or crushing it by the same means through its stomach; or inserting his finger down its throat.

If the infant’s cranium was coming out first, he would usually use his index finger to puncture its head, but if it was coming out feet first, he would instead insert an instrument in the back of the infant’s head

Disgusting.... . Wonder what @crandc thinks about this shit.

Pretty sure someone on here was arguing w/me about there not being partial birth abortions or late term (third trimester) EVER. Guess what...... it's happening and has happened. SICK.

And a hell of a lot more will happen if you shut down Planned Parenthood. SICK.

Yeah, well at that point, taxpayers are not funding the fucking disgusting operation. IMO You are crazy if you think PP actually is clean. This report is a travesty.

Still pushing and believing that debunked bullshit. You believe anything that right-wingers tell you won't you? Nobody was fucking selling baby parts. That's been debunked.

But no you'll continue to post Breitbart bullshit. Again if you believe anything that they post after that Shirley Sherrod shitshow and after that Acorn crap, you'll believe anything.

Considering this report came out after your "debunked" article, I'll call B.S.

I love women, I actually live with one. Have only dated them. Even lost my virginity with one. I support organizations like Planned Parenthood that keeps them healthy and safe.

Taxpayers aren't funding abortions.

Recommendations for Stewardship of Taxpayer Funds
1)
The Panel found that Planned Parenthood affiliates and clinics have repeatedly neglected
their fiduciary duty requiring good stewardship of federal taxpayer dollars through the
following: careless management and failed compliance with Medicaid billing procedures;
violating federal laws and regulations pertaining to patient consent and the privacy rights
of their patients; changing the method of abortion to increase procurement of fetal tissue
for which they received a per tissue payment; and a general disinterest in clinical integrity.
The Panel recommends that Planned Parenthood lose all federal funding, including reimbursements for Medicaid services.

Sorry bro, they can go see a normal doctor for that.

Y'know, somebody who was actually pro-life (instead of simply anti-choice) would applaud an organization that actually works to make abortions unnecessary. But of course opponents of Planned Parenthood don't really give a shit about saving lives, do they?

You don't need PP to save lives. There are doctors offices around the country to support these people. That is some propaganda you got there Rasta.

Who wrote that? The conservatives that run the energy commerce in the house? So what you're saying is is that you will trust the government? You only trust them when they're conservative... You can't have it both ways you can't on one side say that you don't trust government and then use government information when it fits your narrative.

Men need to get out of the argument when it comes to abortion. It's not your body. You are not carrying anything. It's the woman's Choice should always be the woman's choice men should truly shut the fuck up about it.

Press Release from Jan 4 2017, on this final report.

https://energycommerce.house.gov/ne...ect-investigative-panel-releases-final-report

"“The Select Investigative Panel on Infant Lives succeeded in uncovering shameful practices, which undermined the very foundations of ethical American scientific research and have led to 15 criminal and regulatory referrals. Over the course of its year-long investigation of fetal tissue procurement companies and abortion businesses, the Select Panel found evidence that several tissue procurement companies and abortion clinics may have violated federal felony laws prohibiting the sale of human fetal tissue. As a physician and researcher, it is my sincere hope that our investigation and the subsequent referrals have put an end to these shady and unethical practices,” said Congressman Andy Harris, M.D.

"I’m honored to have served on the Select Panel on Infant Lives because it played a pivotal role in uncovering the big business that is the fetal tissue procurement industry. In the course of our investigation, our panel requested the banking and accounting records from many institutions to verify those businesses’ activities. Although many complied, StemExpress, a major procurement business, did not. I look forward to working with my colleagues to ensure that they are held accountable in the 115th Congress," said Congressman Sean Duffy."

This discussion is about fetal tissue sales, not abortion rights per say. I am pro-choice when it comes to sexual assault, or medical conditions that require the health of the mom. I am not pro-choice when it comes to immature teens having sex and needing to get an abortion clandestine because they don't wanna tell their parents.

So you want to make it harder for immature teens to get birth control.

So If my wife and I get her pregnant by having sex, she should be able to go and have an abortion because it is her choice without even talking to me about it? That seems a little off.

And for the record, i don't agree with abortion but I am also for people making their own decisions if it doesn't affect me. Some random person having an abortion has nothing to do with me.

Full disclosure, my high school girlfriend and I were some of those immature sex having teens. She was a good catholic girl (went on to be valedictorian at LaSalle high school.) There was no way her parents would have allowed her to go on the pill. She asked her mother. Girlfriend went to Planned Parenthood, got on the pill. And I took out the backseat of my 1954 Ford Customline and replaced it with a twin mattress. Good times! Very very good times.

You could chain her up in the basement and force her to keep it.

Ultimately if she was very serious about getting one, i would be a little hurt, but i would acknowledge her choice.

But someone telling me to just shut the fuck up about it is a little strong.

So you want to make it harder for immature teens to get birth control.
Nope, they can get it at the Doctors office. If their parents wont let them, then that is not my problem, they can have a family then.

Federally funding this practice is disgusting.

Thankfully...

"The Select Investigative Panel has worked hard to uncover the illegal and highly repulsive activities of the organizations involved in the sale and trafficking of baby body parts. Now it is up to the judicial system to hold the perpetrators accountable and up to Congress and the new Administration to see that these heinous acts are continued no longer. The way we treat our young, our weak, and our voiceless does matter. History will hold us accountable for these atrocities," said Congressman Joseph R. Pitts.

Thank you, it appears the name Planned Parenthood isn't clear enough to show the primary intention is to give sexually active humans the ability to obtain birth control and STD prevention.

Considering you can get that same stuff at a normal doctor (and in some cases a store for STD Protection), I don't see the gripe. Now, let's talk about the sale of human body parts.... Should we still give this organization a pass? I guess we'll see when it goes to Congress this year.

But it will become your problem... there is a direct link between poverty and crime.
Reaching.... but we'll continue... they probably should not have had sex then if they can't be responsible for their actions.
