Just recently watched the entire 70s run of Columbo. Peter Falk was unparalleled.

Loved that show. Used to watch it with my dad. We also watched Quincy M.E.

Randomly, another series I love that I didn't really watch during its main run is "Monk". I love crime shows, but it's one of the few that actually makes you laugh throughout and feel good when it's over. "Psych" fits that bill as well, although I watched that one from the beginning.

Love both those shows. Watch them both from the beginning to end. Tony Shaloub as Monk as fantastic

My son keeps telling me I need to watch Breaking Bad and yet to do it, but this winter might be a good time to check it out. Another one I enjoyed was Weeds which at time was hilarious. The last years were weaker though much like many sitcoms that last several seasons as eventually you can only take characters and storyline so far.
I watched Breaking Bad but was not overly impressed. Not to say that it was bad, just not great.

I know we are going off the "classic American TV" bandwagon here - but Gary: Tank Commander is one of the best comedy shows I have seen in a long time. It is on Netflix, but you might have to put the captions on because... Scotland

I watched How I Met Your Mother all the way through after it came out. It wasn't terrible. I think the funniest and most ironic part is that the actor that plays Barney (Niel Patrick Harris) is a gay man but his character is the most misogynistic person ever.

Also, here are a couple fun games:

Got 2 wrong in the 80s one and 2 in the 90s

Silver Spoons, Mr. Belvedere in the 80's and Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place in the 90's

The situations on the show were so relevant for me in my 20s and 30s. We would watch episodes while predrinking before hitting the town

I love the office, with a few caveats the first couple episodes have good moments but feel kind of awkward it kind of gets it's legs though and is pretty hilatious until the last couple seasons and then it's still pretty good but definitely seemed like 'ready' to be done.

Do it, the office is brilliant, especially the first few seasons.

Been sick the past couple days, so I started binging The Office while quarantined to the bedroom. Through 2 1/2 seasons so far. There's a lot of cringiness that is hard for me to sit through (like EVERY interaction Michael has with Jan...), but it's enjoyable.

Sorry to hear youve been sick!
I hope you get to feeling better. Micheals character both makes and breaks that show. Its kind of intentional I think.
