Sorry to hear youve been sick!
I hope you get to feeling better. Micheals character both makes and breaks that show. Its kind of intentional I think.
Yeah, the cringe humor is clearly intentional; not my style personally. Tough for me to not think "he would be fired for that" at some point every episode. But there's plenty more in the show that I'm enjoying.

He’s my least favorite character. My favorites are Stanley, Daryl and the Dwight / Jim stuff. When Andy comes around he has some good moments too.

Been sick the past couple days, so I started binging The Office while quarantined to the bedroom. Through 2 1/2 seasons so far. There's a lot of cringiness that is hard for me to sit through (like EVERY interaction Michael has with Jan...), but it's enjoyable.
There were only a few times I actually got uncomfortable watching that show but I get it.

This show is worth every second you spend on it.

I dig Stanley. Andy I could take or leave (although I'm early in his tenure). Creed is by far my favorite, and Kevin cracks me up too.

I kinda think Jim's a jerk. He has the occasional moment of kindness (ie, joining Michael in karaoke after he crashed Jim's party), but I generally dislike a lot of what he does.

So I’ve been in Seattle at the Microsoft buildings all week which means after business hours a lot of free time I’m not used too!
So I decided that since Seinfeld is on Hulu, I would finally give it a watch. All those jokes I’ve been missing out on for years I would finally understand.

Anyways, I have really enjoyed it so far which got me thinking, are there any shows you got in on really late or way past there time and you enjoyed?

Friends

Any Night Court or Wings fans here? Not sure how they hold up today tho.
I forgot Wings. It is one of my all time favorite comedies.
I think Antonio Scarpacci was my favorite character.
Here's some great scenes with Antonio -

West wing. Started watching the final season Nd had to stop and start it from the beginning. Ive since bought it on disc and watched all seven seasons several times.

Been watching this for the first time over the past few weeks. Just got to the episode where Wendy moves back to Canada. Ron in cornrows freaked me the heck out.
It's a pretty good show, my wife thinks I'm basically Ron Swanson, crazy ex's and all (Least I didn't marry any of them *shrugs*).

Not sure what season you are on, but this show takes off in a blaze of glory after Rob Lowe and Adam Scott join the cast.

Rob Lowe is literally my favorite person, in the world, right at this very moment.

The second I saw Adam Scott I was like, "I don't remember who that guy is, but I hate him". Then I remembered he's the demon from "The Good Place". He's become less hateable at this point.

In truth, mine is probably Archie Bunker. Carol O'Connor played him to a T. Taking a bigot like him and mocking the hell out of him was brilliant.
I saw some of him on TVland with my parents growing up but I struggle to remember it very well.

All in the Family, and the Jeffersons were both great.

So many people hated Archie because he was bigot, but a lot of people didn't realize the show was mocking bigots.

I remember the Jeffersons much better than All in the Family.

You should be seeing Seattle. Ray's Boathouse for seafood is a must. Try their grilled Chinook but stress that it not be overcooked. Mine was the best I've had in my life even better than my grilled Chinook. Eat downstairs and make a reservation where you have a window view. Another is Elliott's by the Pier. The view is spectacular.
