Selling a suit question

I was in 2 weddings the past couple weeks and I had to buy a $200 suit for one of them from Men's Warehouse. I only wore it once. I don't see myself having to wear it any time in the near future. Mint condition, pants and coat. Where is my best bet at selling it. I'm sure there's got to be a market out there, right?

I'm assuming, based on the information you provided, that this is your only suit. If that's the case, then just keep it. Even if your job doesn't require a suit, it always comes in handy to have one. You're probably not going to get shit on eBay for a cheap suit that was tailored to your body type either. I'd just swallow the $200 and look at it as an investment.

I personally think you'd be silly to sell it. You could probably get around $50 for it....maybe. A lot of these suit places do two for one and such, so a lot of people would probably just do that instead of buying a used suit that isn't tailored exactly to them. It's always good to have at least one suit.

I got pulled over for speeding right after I moved to Texas, got a warning, but got ticketed for not having my insurance card with me and not having a Texas drivers license yet. On the back of the ticket it stated to dress appropriately for court. I came from work, so I had on slacks and a casual long sleeve button up shirt with nice shoes, so I was good. Any who, when I got to the court house, there were people sweeping and doing windows and such, which I thought was odd, but figured the janitors were late or something? When I got inside the court room, the judge would see people come up dressed in shorts or sweats or God forbid, PJ bottoms and order them to go clean the bath rooms or mop. He said if you dress like a janitor, we will make you one. After they cleaned they all paid full ticket. He stood me up in the court and said that I was a good example of how to dress for court. My ticket got dismissed, but still had to pay $5 for wasting the courts time because I was too lazy to get my license changed. True story.

I'm not sure what the law is, but I don't believe that would go over well for some reason?

I could be missing part of the story for all I know? Maybe he gave them a choice of cleaning or something? I don't think so though?

A Judge can make you do community service as part of your sentence, and he can tell you what that service is. So you can do this thing the easy way or the hard way, but if a judge wants you toclean a shitter, well son, you are going to clean a shitter
