Selling My PS3 A Good Idea?

I have noticed lately that every game that comes for both Xbox 360 and PS3, Xbox always gets them first and better scores. Sense The Orange Box just came out I'm getting really excited to play it but its not out for PS3 till December. So I'm thinking about selling all my PS3 games and my PS3 for an Xbox 360, do you think its a good idea, should I do it?</p>

Good Idea if you sell your PS3 for the X-BOX 360.The games in my opinion are a lot better and I find it more fun then the PS3.About it breaking down just buy waranty.</p>

I dont know guys... If I buy a 360 I won't be able to play Metal Gear Solid 4,Tekken 6,Killzone 2,Getaway 3,Jak And Daxter The Lost Frontier,Ratchet And Clank Future Tools Of Destruction,God Of War 3, nor Gran Turismo 5, plus they will have even MORE on the way. While Xbox 360 has Halo 3 (overrated) and Gears Of War that people say are good.</p>

I've got a PS3. Just wait it out I say, the only reason PS3 hasnt had a stack load of quality games come out yet, is that its a more powerful system to the 360. 360 runs on DVD format still (HD-DVD) while Playstation runs with Blu-Ray discs. Developers arent yet fully equiped to get the best out of the PS3 that it has to offer. I'm not saying XBox 360 is crap, I've been thinking about maybe getting one too, but it isnt as powerful as the PS3 is.

I bet once Developers start to get used to the PS3 and know how it works, PS3 games will be amazing. We need to let the PS3 grow, and wait for a little and PS3 which people call it King Of Consoles or God Of Consoles will be born.</p>

Murphy's Law says shortly after you sell it, you will want it back. You are probably better off to save up for a 360 and end up with both machines so that you can play which ever game you want.</p>

A better idea is to get a 1080p television and a bunch of Blu-Ray discs.</p>

That way you will have a bargain top-of-the-line Blu-Ray player instead of an expensive, somewhat inferior (for now) video game system.</p>

That sucks. My mom doesn't care what I buy with my money. Problem is, I don't have a job at the moment, so there's no money. I think I'll start looking for a job this weekend, if I'm not too swamped with college apps.</p>

I agree with you there. Madden's fun though. Brawl being pushed back was really gay.</p>

Once I start work again, I might look into buying a 360 aswell. Their online is better than the PS3, I dont mind paying $70 a year for XBox Live if it meansa quality online experience. The PS3 online isnt bad, but its lacking downloadable content and shit like XBox live has (for COD3 for example, you can download 5 new levels for online play, but you cant on PS3)

I bought the X-Box 360 with my own money and my parents didn't really care.I might buy a Wii or PS3 soon maybe not.I think the Wii is mostly for little kids because of the games it has and the limited violence games it has.</p>

If your a big fan of those titles you listed above like Grand Turismo and Jax and Daxtor then definitley stick with the PS3 because you'll definitley wanna play them when they are released. IMHO I think the 360 right now is alot better then the PS3 with great games already out and coming in the near future like Mass Effect, Fable 2, Halo 3, Gears of War, GTA4, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, Forza 2, PGR4, Splinter Cell....etc the list goes on. The only negative thing I would say about the 360 is the red rings that destroy the console, I have had my 360 for almost 2 years and it crashed on me but I simply called support and Microsoft sent me a brand new 360 instead of fixing it, the process only took 3-4 weeks so it wasnt all that bad.</p>

And it looks like Halo 4 might be developed by RARE. That should be interesting. The campaign in Halo 4 should be better than the other three games if thats the case.</p>

Resistance wasnt that good I thought, I hired it out for the night, and though COD3 shat all over it. COD3 is the best game on PS3 at the moment IMO, that will all change once COD4 comes out though, muhuhahahaha!! Those who play online, better prepare yourselves, I'm coming to own you!

But as far as Resistance is concerned, it has a great story (not the best, but still great), it's quite lenghty, and the online is awesome. Especially if you create a party and everyone has a mic.I actually just finished playing it. Met some new guys, was in a party, decided to go apeshit on people (63-18, bitches) had 630 points (number 1) and the 2nd closes guy had 320. I couldn't believe it.The weapons are really fun to use in the story (if you don't use the right ones, you'll have to replay the same level a million times.) If you have a second controller and player the co-op, you'll have an insane amount of fun. I think they double up on the enemies if you have two players. And plus, how can you complain about killin hundreds of aliens at certain parts of the game? ;-)There's a reason the game sold 2 million copies (the Catholic Church helped a lot, though. haha.)As far as CoD4 is concerned, the trailer looked amazing!</p>
