I want people in Houston to know how disgusting their own team's fans are. If anyone else is interested in writing in to show your disgust for the racism and vitriole Rockets fans displayed in Game 6, here's the information:

Send letters to the editor, 250 words or less, as part of e-mail text to viewpoints@chron.com. Include name, address, and day and evening phone numbers for verification purposes only. Letters subject to editing.

How should I start my letter?

Dear editor,

This one guy on a message board I go to says he heard a guy on a radio show say that Rocket fans threw beer at our GM and called one of our players an awful name.

I demand that you um... like... apologize to me for...um... well not to me but to the NBA team I follow for being jerks or something. OR i demand that you the editor of a newspaper should like tell people to stop doing this if it actually happened. I also demand that the city of Houston has a parade for Portland or gives us money and promise to never do it again.

I DEMAND THIS!!!!!

Take some prozac or something, bro. If you don't want to write a short note to a Houston paper telling them you think their fans should be better than racial epithets and hurling beer at team executives, that's your perogative. Just don't respond to my post. *edited*

As much as I'm sure the rest of the members of this board really want to enjoy this pissing match, why don't you send me a PM if you've got an issue with anything I've posted.

Because the way I see it, I posted a general message directing people on where they could display their criticism towards the racist actions of the Rockets fans. And you pissed all over it and tried to make yourself look important. And I called you on your BS.

Like I said ... if you have an issue ... PM me. Otherwise drop it and this thread that you think is ridiculous will die.

Heh. I was thinking the same thing, although I'd do the minimal fact-checking for "research" and footnote it. ;)

As far as I'm concerned, any sort of negative PR for that team after their own security turned a blind eye to that crap is time well spent.

I'm still trying to figure out where all these allegations are originating from. Not a single Rockets fan I know of that attended the game believes this happened or would condone it if it did. Some actual evidence instead of hearsay would be nice.

Evidence from a poster in here? Or Evidence from the Announcers who say it happened?
