How will they bend over for the Red Sox today?

At this point I'll be satisfied with a series split.

They would be pretty much tied for the final playoff spot right now if they weren't trying to play who can choke worse us or the Rays.

And like I said earlier, I love the guy but Jeter really needs to shut it down. I mean he's not getting any lift on the ball at all. And if he must play he needs to be hitting 8th or 9th. JMO.

Just laughable. I no sooner go to watch and I see it's 2-0 already on a Napoli two run homer.

Red Sux are thrashing the Triple AAA Yankees. They're getting one
major azz whipping public style.......in their own home. For shame.

Four game sweep at home coming right up.

Do you think there should be a staff meeting on how to pitch to Napoli, whomever is the advance scout who aids in the determination in Joe's binder on how you should pitch guys like Napoli, Longoria, etc. All year long they have been mashing it. I know if I was pitching given Napoli success, that he wouldn't be real comfortable in the batters box.

I agree, he should be sitting right now, he as lost as he was at the beginning of last year.

This is just embarrassing. At home or anywhere.

The Red Soxs are just digging in, and ripping, It's like they have forgotten how to play the game. Doesn't somebody have to get dirty. You don't have to hit the guy, but move them....

They don't pitch inside. They don't knock anyone down. Boston hitters are far too comfortable. It's a joke.

Assuming a monumental comeback doesn't happen here. The Yankees will drop three straight at home scoring 8 , 8 and 7 plus whatever. Pitching shit the bed and slept in it.

A smidgen of sack is better than no sack at all. Glad to see they ran that jackass Lackey.

I hate to say I agree with Kay, but last night when we had Daley warming up and he said " Hard to believe that here we are in September, against the Red Soxs and a guy like Daley is warming up". This sums up the thinking of all Yankee fans. Thank you Cashman for all you have done for this team. If I was Girardi you would have to pull my hands from Cashman's neck

And now we hear what most wish would not happen but feared was going to happen, Jeter may have re-injured the ankle on the throw.

Yankee pitching staffs have pretty much continued to be wimpy from '96 on.

He should never have come back this season. I mean I know all about pride but coming back for the last 30 games was just foolish.

Did he just pinch hit Wells for Murphy, are you fucking kidding.

Three games, 25 runs, three losses. Pettitte excepted the whole pitching staff stunk. Saw Hughes & Boone Baboons comments about yesterdays loss on River Avenue. Er, ah, well, ah, they're a good club ah, ah crap, they stunk worse than Loudin Wainwrights Dead Skunk.

Yes he did but that's Girardi for you. I mean the kid only went 2-2. Hell I'm surprised he never brought Hughes or Joba into this one.
